Adversity is a test 09.02.2026

Adversity is meant to push you to your limits and beyond. But that doesn't mean you can't learn from failing. Sure, maybe you didn't perform as you hoped. So learn from that and put in the work to build that skill. Get more aligned with the morals you want to uphold in tough times. Get locked in to higher standards. Getting beaten down just shows you where you have the most room for growth. Put in...

Be inconsistent? 08.02.2026

Sometimes you need to be inconsistent to move forward. When your consistent actions are inaction isn't leading you where you want to go, you need to do the inconsistent thing to break free.

Earn that jealousy! 07.02.2026

It's a tale as old as time. You get way more support when people think you're not doing as well as them. They find it harder to support someone doing better than them, though. Not all are this way, but it seems to be the majority...

Judge your actions 06.02.2026

But you shouldn't judge yourself or others... How's that working out for you? Let's be honest. You are going to do it one way or another. At least judge the right thing so you can build better routines to keep progressing either way.

Adversity is the trial 05.02.2026

When things are going south, it's hard to hide your true character, principles, and intentions. Believe the actions taken during these times, from both yourself and others. That's the truth. If you find yourself to be lacking during these times, you've got work to do on yourself.

Product of decisions 04.02.2026

Just because we accept reality doesn't mean what happened was right. Or simply means you accept that it happened and you make the decision to move forward anyway. The alternative is a lifetime of sadness. That's not a choice I'm willing to make for myself.

Not right or wrong 03.02.2026

Decisions don't need to be right or wrong. When you get stuck in that language, you get stuck on making decisions. Either way, a decision will provide feedback. It either moved you towards your goal, or something will need work to move you further. Both are just feedback. You won't know what that feedback is until you make the decision and move forward.

Train for failure 02.02.2026

Well, the ice and snow finally got me, and I almost ended up in the drink 🤣. It's a good thing I have played out falling scenarios to prep myself so I could keep my composure 😁. For real, though. When you make a plan for failure, you give your mind the ability to stay out of fight or flight so you can think through the situation quickly. It's not by accident. It's a skill that can be trained.

Not a tendency... 01.02.2026

Once you've identified your pattern, it's now a series of choices you are making with full knowledge that it's not the best option. You don't get a free pass to be a degenerate because you refuse to make better choices.

Under estimators 31.01.2026

You either achieve, or you don't. It feels safe to underestimate yourself or others, but that's just you trying to protect your ego.

Feelings aren't facts 30.01.2026

Feelings are feedback, not facts. They are there for you to investigate, not make true or accurate to a situation. The more you seek to validate instead of investigate, the longer you will be bothered by that emotion.

Complaint box 🤦‍♂️ 29.01.2026

It's a bit of a rant, but I think it can add value 😂. The reality is that complaining doesn't solve the problem, EVER. If you don't have solutions or the ability to enact change, you can join a discussion to brainstorm. But complaining and whining about why it's so hard for you now when we ask had the same situation come up is just you looking for victim sympathy. Plan better. Ask for help. Or ju...

Not as bad... 28.01.2026

Sometimes I get in my own way, too. That's why I don't rely on motivation. These are the moments discipline comes into play. And the moments my mental skills help me get over that inner bitch voice 😂

It's a moment... 27.01.2026

This moment isn't your life. It's just a moment in your life. What a great neutral way to get out of the spiral into negativity that drains your life when you stay in it.

Two questions... 26.01.2026

Who was I today? Was that the person I wanted to be? Ask yourself these questions daily to reflect and grow. The answer might change based on your need for that day, also. Different tasks, groups, or roles might require a different version of you to make the biggest impact.

Name it 25.01.2026

Name that emotion! Like a game show 😂 For real, though. Doing this helps you move out of survival mode and into executive function. The more you do it, the faster you get at moving through the emotions without acting through them unintentionally.

Nice try 😂 24.01.2026

There's too many soft people running around these days. If you need six feet of space around you while standing in line to pay in a packed grocery store, you probably need to stay home. Also, when someone tries to use child like tactics to offend you, don't participate. Stand your ground, sure, but be the one controlling your emotions. You can cry, whine, bitch or moan all you want. That's a you p...

It's YOUR emergency... 23.01.2026

Just because it's one party's priority doesn't mean it's everyone's priority. Reminding yourself of this can really help you accomplish your task quicker.

Hidden consequences 22.01.2026

People like to believe they aren't controlled or following orders, then they play video games and have to follow orders... There's rules, boundaries, limitations, skill development, and more wrapped up in a digital package. Just think how far these people can make it if they stopped fighting real people and contributed that same energy into real life!

Mental stamina 21.01.2026

The difference between the best and the rest is often the littlest thing. Mental stamina and being able to learn from the losses and stay in the moment. This lesson was learned on a tennis court for some, but it applies to life as a whole. Anything you want to do requires you to move on quickly from the losses and pains of your past. Learn from them, then dump it and move on.

Mind your business 20.01.2026

There's a time and place to speak up, help, or solve problems. Great. But if all you bring to the table is complaints, negativity, and gossip, then you are part of the problem.

Decisions are easy 19.01.2026

Decisions shouldn't be so complicated. People miss out on so many opportunities because their afraid to make a decision. Or, worse, they second guess things or play the what if game when things don't go perfectly. But that's just insane. You didn't make that decision, and you couldn't possibly know how it would turn out. So enjoy the results you do have, then make new decisions based on that.

Get to right 18.01.2026

The goal is to get to right, not to be right. It doesn't matter who is correct and who isn't. What is the best path forward to make the thing work? Get to that.

You suck at being an adult... 17.01.2026

Being an adult is not complicated. It's the overwhelming majority of most people's existence. Your problem is that you still think there shouldn't be any rules, standards, or consequences. But that's called chaos. There's only a select few people that thrive in chaos, and trust me when I tell you, you don't want to go up against them. Give your life structure, rules, discipline, and boundaries. Th...

Educate or devastate 16.01.2026

Educate or devastate. Those are the choices you have when you experience things. You get to choose, though. If you struggle with that, then you lack the skills. But you can learn.
