Excellence is brutal up close 15.10.2026 1:42
Watching excellence in practice is beautiful for sure. But do you have the balls to go through the requirements to get there?
Train in discomfort 14.10.2026 2:00
You must train in conditions that can mimic the real thing. For me that's have a restriction on breathing and added weight to mimic pushing through when everything feels heavy at the end. For you, it might be something very different, but you can find a way to mimic it all the same.
To win you must lose 13.10.2026 0:36
To win, you need to lose all the behaviors and thoughts that are holding you back. That is all 🤝
Character observed 13.10.2026 2:08
Character is revealed when you think nobody is watching. Well, nobody you find important at the time anyway. But if you need someone important to you to be watching, it's not character, it's a costume for your performance.
Focus on what you want 12.10.2026 1:57
When you focus on the misery, you'll certainly find it. Change your focus to what you want and your decisions will follow.
Accept the complement 11.10.2026 1:54
Most people suck at being complemented. It's not humble to be rude. That person took the time to notice you. Accept their observations with a thank you, then move on.
You've already overcome your past 10.10.2026 0:52
Your past doesn't need to be overcome. You did that when it happened. You just need to accept that it happened, learn the lesson, and stop allowing it to dominate your thoughts.
Go together 09.10.2026 2:19
The quote in here I actually liked best was the one about making the decision right. Because no matter what, once you go down a path you can't undo it. So second guessing and what if-ing the decision that was not chosen won't change the outcome anyway.
Why can't he just give up? 😂 08.10.2026 1:57
The devil will try you, but God is stronger 👏
Are you willing to lose yourself? 07.10.2026 1:59
Care more about being right with yourself and God than fitting in with a crowd going nowhere.
The distracted mind 05.10.2026 2:08
I learned this again today, lol. I was just going to do a little longer run than normal before my workout. But I got distracted playing solitaire while running and ended at 30 minutes and a completed 5k 😂. I was breathing easier than I was halfway through with the same pace, simply because my brain forgot it was supposed to be lying about being tired 🤷♂️😂
You're lying to yourself... 05.10.2026 1:48
Yeah, you might be tired, especially in thought. That doesn't mean it's accurate. You have more in you than you think. If you stop believing that lie you tell yourself, who knows how far you can go...
Handle hard better 04.10.2026 1:27
When you're pushing limits, it's not supposed to be easy. If that's what you're waiting for, you'll never get there. Learn to mentally handle hard moments better and you'll keep advancing.
You are not your diagnosis 02.10.2026 1:46
Just because it's real doesn't mean it's valid and accurate. And it definitely isn't your personality.
It's not that bad 01.10.2026 1:48
When things don't go as planned, that's the time to be calm and figure out a solution. Not the time to freak out and create bigger problems. Plus, it gives you the chance to be the break in the chaos for someone else.
Delay gratification 30.09.2026 1:09
When you constantly search for immediate gratification, you'll end up finding only pain later on.
Maybe you're wrong... 30.09.2026 2:04
Your first read isn't always correct. And the bigger the impact on your life, the more you need to question that and be willing to be wrong.
Use it to make more... 28.09.2026 1:42
When you use the same logic on the things you don't want to do that you use when you want to give an excuse for the thing you "can't" have, it changes the equation 🤷♂️
The illusion of knowledge 28.09.2026 2:06
Ignorance an be fixed with curiosity. But if you think you know everything already, then you only have the illusion of knowledge.
Be grateful 26.09.2026 1:59
I got a little off track, but I'm sticking with it 🤣. We need to be grateful for the things we have and also remember those things are simply reminders of the people and moments we had along the way.
Lighthouse, not lifeboat... 26.09.2026 2:08
You can't fix everything for those you claim to care about. In fact, trying to only makes it worse for them in the long run. Show them the boundaries and let them accept the consequences.
Comparison isn't a thief... 25.09.2026 2:28
Your ego wants to believe you should be better. But where's the evidence? And yes, I check myself on this, too. I wanted to believe I should be better than these prosecutors I'm with at public speaking. Then I had to remind myself a large part of their training and job is public speaking and speech writing. The ego on me to think I'm putting in that same level of effort 😂. My comparison added to...
Don't try to prove yourself... 23.09.2026 1:35
Sure, it's uncomfortable knowing you are the one in the room who is possibly in the wrong place. Don't panic. Don't try and prove you belong. Be curious. Be open. Listen. Add value only if you can without forcing it after something comes up that you can add. Maybe that's advice, a thought, or simply a connection to another person.
It's better to not know... 23.09.2026 2:01
If you refuse to do the work for the thing, you should just accept the reality that it's not what you truly want. Otherwise, there would be no obstacle that would stop you.
Life lessons from driving patterns 22.09.2026 2:05
Driving can teach you a lot about people and life. I don't know why this came to me this morning, but here we are 😂.
