Spring has just not been the same this year with several false starts; now that maple sap season has begun, the trees on our land, for some reason, were not tapped this year, something I always look forward to. I will find another source of spring sweetness. Support the show

My goal each day is to celebrate something I am grateful for. Today it is the warm sun I feel on my face in March. It brings a smile to my lips and creates a song in my heart. I wonder how many people go through life without ever finding something to be grateful for. Support the show

A few years ago I purchased just the frame of a small storage building from a local hardware store. I put it behind the Center to remind me of my intention to build something bigger. That something is bigger but may look different in the current future. Support the show

 A scrap of food on the floor in the shape of a heart has the same love power to me as a giant heart shape in the sky. Little actions of positivity have the same power as big actions. Our intentions do make a difference in lives. Support the show

One of the benefits of being snowbound for a day was enjoying the wonderful banana bread my wife baked, from the smell of it cooking, to the taste of a warm slice, to the good feeling in my stomach while and after eating. It is good for the soul. Support the show

The woodpeckers love to peck away at the suet feeder just outside my window. It is a piece of tree limb with large holes in it that my son fills with the suet. Life has many enriching adventures knocking at the window of our minds if we pay attention. Support the show

This winter season we have experienced spring in every month and then winter starts over again. The again, it seems as though life has been like that the last few years as we find ourselves starting over several times. Each time we do, we have more experience from the last time. Support the show

The weather, for me, reflects life in many ways, as the sharp contrasts between light and dark that I observed in a recent sunset. Life is full of contrasts when we live under the influence of our ego. It is the willingness to believe that there is something connected to us from beyond that helps us stay even. Support the show

Experiencing Nature is a great way to pause and breathe in some fresh air, something many of us forget to do when we are consumed with distracting thoughts. We can also use the experience in Nature to help us get a breath of fresh air wherever we are by remembering it. Support the show

When I used to do hypnosis stage shows, I had a skit where I would freeze someone’s ability to see what was happening until I unfroze them. The brook is doing the same thing, freezing and unfreezing. People often freeze old beliefs in their minds and don’t know how to unfreeze them. Support the show

There is something about looking out the front window on a clear winter day, just as the sun rises, and being welcomed by a pink glow on the mountains across the valley. I am always inspired. I wonder what inspires each of us along our soul’s path.   Support the show
