COMMUNICATING WITH SOURCE 11.07.2026

I often speak of communicating with Source. I am not sure how to define that. Each person may have a different definition of something that I call positive heart-based love. For me that is the center where my soul was created from divine energy. Others may call that God, Angels, Guides, Spirits, or ego. It is a knowing that I am never alone. Support the show

OVERLOOK 10.07.2026

We have some spots on the ridgeline that give different views of the valley below. We have copies of two sketches done by Thomas Cole during a visit to what was then called the “Great Wilderness” in the early 1800s. He would paint large panoramas and charge people to view them in the city. Now these overlooks can help visitors get a fresh view of their life. Support the show

THE LITTLE FROG POND 09.07.2026

Several years ago, I purchased a pond kit from a store going out of business and a group of volunteers dug an eight by ten two feet deep hole, lined it, and filled it with water and added some water plants. The frogs managed to find it and lay eggs in it each year. Today it is part of the Ormond Gardens, where visitors can pause, gaze and enjoy the plants and activity in the pond. Support the show

SEEING YELLOW 07.07.2026

There are several yellow flowering plants in the Ormond garden that bloom at the same time. Each one is a little different and that is what makes the garden interesting. In the garden of life, combinations of people make the soul’s journey interesting for those who are paying attention. Support the show

DAISIES AND STONE 06.07.2026

Nature is a master at creating arrangements, like daisies in front of a gray stone wall. These little scenes in Nature can be easily missed when one is stressed and not aware of the beauty of their surroundings. Positive awareness can also help you realize you are not alone. The signs are waiting for you to discover. Support the show

TREES NEED TO EAT, TOO 05.07.2026

One of our old trail signs looks like the tree is eating it. Trees do need nourishment, as do all living things. For people, that includes nourishment for the mind as well as the body. Heart-based gratitude can help nourish the soul. Support the show

THE HENS ARE READY TO LAY 04.07.2026

There is a succulent in the gardens called Hen and Chickens that sends out shoots which plant themselves and in turn send out more shoots, multiplying its size. It reminds me of how positive acts of kindness can send out shoots that can help grow more positive acts of kindness, that keep the original spreading. www.michaelhathaway.com   Support the show

A LABOR OF LOVE 03.07.2026

The wet weather caused us to postpone preparation for the Enchanted Pathway for visitors of all ages to enjoy this summer and the fall. Finally, we loaded the back of our side-by-side with pinwheels, statues, figurines, and hanging decorations, and spent the afternoon arranging them. We can do many acts of kindness that are truly a labor of love to benefit others. www.michaelhathaway.com   Support...

MY SISTER'S ROSE 02.07.2026

Over thirty years ago my sister dug up one of her pink roses and gave it to me. The place where I planted it become overgrown and my wife wanted more lawn in that area, so I found a shoot, dug it up and planted it in the Ormond Gardens. This year it is full of beautiful pink blooms Acts of kindness can be transplanted and last a long time. www.michaelhathaway.com   Support the show

FOXGLOVE BEARDED TONGUES 01.07.2026

There are a couple of tall maroon stemmed flowers in the Ormond Gardens with small flowers that put on quite a show in June before many of the other plants begin flowering. I think of the comparison between tall and short or big and little in life. This plant has both. We can often miss the little acts of kindness. As they add up, they grow become more noticeable. www.michaelhathaway.com   Support...

WATCHING THE BIRDS 30.06.2026

I am a great fan of watching the birds that come to our feeders and the birds that inhabit the birdhouse on the top of the mountain, especially the bluebirds. I also enjoy watching people, especially those that have an inner light that help brighten the world. There is so much to observe in life. www.michaelhathaway.com   Support the show

SURROUNDED BY LOVE 29.06.2026

When I find a heart sign, I know I am surrounded by love, both on this side of life and the spiritual side of life. I also set my intentions to channel the Source’s love in everything I do. I believe I do not own this love; it is something that anyone can tap into if they choose to do so. www.michaelhathaway.com   Support the show

AN UNEXPECTED FIND 28.06.2026

I am always looking for something different when I hike in Nature, and one day recently I discovered a big egg lying in the middle of the trail. It must have been a couple of inches long, and I wondered where it might have come from. Was it from someone’s lunch or had it fallen out of a nest? If so, it must have been laid by a large bird. Life is full of unexpected finds wherever you go. www.micha...

FINDING PEACE ON THE MOUNTAIN 27.06.2026

This time of year I often take the short walk from the Cabin to the Lupine field where I pause and gaze out at the landscape. It is a very peaceful place where I know that I am surrounded by love. Each time I visit, I have an intention to carry that peace with me in my heart wherever my Soul’s journey takes me. www.michaelhathaway.com   Support the show

THE KITTIES ARE IN FULL BLOOM 26.06.2026

The catmint flowers are in full bloom and help brighten up the Ormond Gardens with several beautiful bouquets. Even though the blossoms are small, collectively they create patches of color. There are people who create positive actions on a small scale that make a beautiful bouquet of love when all added together. www.michaelhathaway.com   Support the show

FINDING A WAY THROUGH 25.06.2026

On a recent scenic railroad trip through Crawford North, I could see the opening that the train would soon be traveling between the mountains. It was discovered over two hundred years ago by early explorers of the mountains. In life when it seems as if we cannot make progress, there is usually an opening that can help us find our way through. www.michaelhathaway.com Support the show

A RED ROSE CAN BRIGHTEN ANY DAY 24.06.2026

Like the song. “Red Roses for a Blue Lady”, a red rose can brighten up any day. Actually, most any flower can help bring cheer to oneself and others when received or given as a symbol of love and gratitude. I like to think of each person as a flower that has the potential of spreading positivity. www.michaelhathaway.com   Support the show

SAILING THE SEAS OF LIFE 23.06.2026

Sixty four years ago today, my wife and I started on an incredible adventure that is still unfolding. Our honeymoon took us through the White Mountains to the seashore, two places that really resonate with us. I believe our soul connection was put together by a source that has steered us in ways that spreads a light of love, gratitude and positivity for ourselves and others. www.michaelhathaway.co...

NATURE'S ROYALTY 22.06.2026

Queen Ann’s lace is now holding court on the mountainside. The white flower is a good signal that summer has finally arrived. Now is the time to manifest winter dreams into reality and experience life with gratitude for the opportunity to experience this opportunity to spread light and love wherever your adventure takes you. www.michaelhathaway.com   Support the show

A CRACK IN THE WOODS 21.06.2026

We have recently had a lot of rain which softened the soil and weighed down the tree leaves. Add high winds to the mix and some trees may topple. One of them cracked loudly as it fell, landing twenty feet from our house. Fortunately, something was watching over us and reminding us not to crack under the stress of life. www.michaelhathaway.com   Support the show

FINDING INSPIRATION 20.06.2026

One of my sisters sent me a photo of a sunrise recently because she knew I would like it. I am inspired every day by Nature. That led to thinking of people who inspire me with their acts of kindness. Right now, there is a great need in the world for much more positivity and each one of us can take part. www.michaelhathaway.com Support the show

THE BELLFLOWERS ARE PLAYING BEAUTIFUL MUSIC 19.06.2026

BEAUTY COMES IN MANY STAGES 18.06.2026

It has been a few days since I have been able to get back up the mountain to enjoy the lupine, and I found them beginning to fade, However, they still fill the field with color. Beauty in nature comes in many stages. The same is true with older people, whose wealth of knowledge and their positive acts of kindness sometimes are overlooked. www.michaelhathaway.com   Support the show

AN ENDLESS PARADE 17.06.2026

The record-setting rain of last week has created long lasting effects on the road that connects us to communities beyond. I watch an endless parade of repair vehicles passing by as state and local employees work long hours to repair the damage. Sometimes in life, it feels like we are stuck in an endless parade of bad luck. It helps to know that we are not alone. I am grateful. www.michaelhathaway....
