Duke Reacts!

Reacting to Justice's epic "New Lands" music video off their 2011 banger AUDIO. VIDEO. DISCO. Enjoy.

Unearthed a music video classic from 2001, Diddy - Bad Boy For Life (ft. Black Rob & Mark Curry). RIP Black Rob, this was Diddy in his Bad Boy prime. Nobody pulled off music videos like this cat back in the day with a bottomless budget for talent. He's still crazy after all these years, but nobody does a party better than DIDDY. Cameos: Snoop Dogg, Dave Navarro, Travis Barker, Ben Stiller,...

Straight BARS, this is Eric Burdon's WAR at their very finest. One of the coolest bands to come out of the San Francisco scene in the 60s-70s, this is a lost classic with a pre-MTV music video.

Enjoy this lit AF rendition of Rush's instrumental classic YYZ live in RIO 2004. Rest in peace Neal Peart, make sure to show some love for that dude whenever and wherever you can.

Busta Rhymes is one of the best chefs around when it comes to crafting hip-hop craziness and pop perfection. He bout to spaz on the remix to Future's MOVE THAT DOPE. Correction, the opening warm up verse is from OT GENASIS, not 2 Chainz.

Seeing Busta come out at this year's VMAs was a special treat for myself and a lot of other old-school hip-hop heads. Brooklyn is in the building!

Reacting to Frank Zappa's 1979 classic "Bobby Brown Goes Down" off the Sheik Yerbouti record. Interesting choice of lyrics, that's for sure.

Gibby Haynes from the Butthole Surfers was a dope MC, he used a hip-hop style in many of his records including this one, the Surfers' biggest hit Pepper (1996) Enjoy CORRECTION: Gibby Haynes and the Butthole Surfers are from San Antonio, not Austin.

Awesome performance by Donald Fagen on lead vocals, with the rest of the band laying down a funky groove and fire guitar solos. Let me know what you think of this record in the comments below, enjoy,

Reaction video to the video for the Canadian band The Pursuit of Happiness and their 1988 classic "I'm An Adult Now". Lead singer Moe Berg has 4 verses of fury, plus a mandatory 1980s guitar solo. Straight up and down 🔥🔥.  Thanks to Vimeo for allowing us to record video reactions with the full screen. We had a system crash while recording the first take of this, but luckily Vimeo saved ever...

One of my favorite late 70s gems is "I'm Bored" by Iggy Pop from the 1979 record New Values. This is a very rare music video version, if you guys have not heard Iggy gotta check out the Stooges and his solo stuff from the 70s onward. He's still rocking harder than anybody out there to this day. There is only one Iggy, he is one of my strongest influences.

Reacting to Blues Traveler's Hook video from 1995, the original MTV edit. The song is a savage takedown of the MTV era, with a fire third verse where he turns up a little too hard to handle like the Black Crowes. Enjoy

On this day, Primus did not suck. Legendary performance at Woodstock 94 that I thought I would share with my viewers. The crowd was just awesome, enjoy.

Been waiting to get into this one for awhile. This is among Weird Al's finest works, paying tribute to the legacy and many musical styles of Frank Zappa. Enjoy

Reacting to Squeeze's 1987 video for "Hourglass". Reminds me of "Easy Lover", a long lost banger.

This reaction got cut a bit short when the Vimeo screen recording app glitched up and froze my PC. But for all the Em fans out there I decided to share the partial take of what we got. Hope you enjoy. If you want me to redo this and get the full song please subscribe, leave a like and request it in the comments  Turns out this is not actually Eminem, just a blindingly accurate recreation of w...

Reacting to a portion of Ray Vaughn's epic LA Leakers freestyle, this one over the beat to Snoop Dogg's Lay Low. Enjoy

Bone Crusher remix from 2004 with Camron, Jadakiss and Busta, a murderer's row of 2000s NYC hip-hop. A little rap reaction for your Friday, enjoy!

Absolute BANGER from Frank Zappa and the Mothers of Invention's Over-Nite Sensation (1973). This dude got it in, killer hook and guitar solo.

Frank Zappa & the Mothers of Invention live performance clip of Montana, originally on the 1973 record Over-Nite Sensation. It's pretty cool to watch Frank Zappa work, dude was a musical genius.

Reacting to a classic Weird Al track from 1996 off the record Bad Hair Day. This one hits different today as we will discuss, possibly the hardest I have ever laughed in a reaction video. Enjoy

This is authentic 2000s East Coast hip-hop produced by DJ Premier. Brooklyn stand up. Non Phixion was a 90s-2000s hip-hop collective, this track features verses from Goretex, the infamous ILL BILL, and Sabac Red. Enjoy

Favorite Pearl Jam song and video, awesome punk rock performance from the one and only Eddie Vedder on vocals. Commentary on outrage culture, Gen X vs Y/Z, and Pearl Jam live shows.

Straight FIRE from my man Dave Burd

Reacting to the Doobie Brothers' classic "Black Water" from their 1974 record "What Were Once Vices Are Now Habits". Shout to Professor of Rock, I discovered this song through his post.
