Duke Reacts!

This is one of the hardest core rap songs I have ever heard, still can't believe some of the things he got away with saying in this one. Unbelievable. Sorry for the watermark I am trying out new editing software. Enjoy.

I been mining for some more deep cuts from the crazy decade I grew up in, the 1990s. Found this gem from a German band called Guano Apes. FIRE

Come with Me by Diddy (then billed as Puff Daddy) featuring Jimmy Page of Led Zeppelin, sampling the Zeppelin classic "Kashmir". Off the 1998 Godzilla soundtrack, video by Hype Williams. I was blown away by this as a teenager, thought I'd share it with my viewers. The 90s were truly insane like Alvin.

Reacting to the original 2008 music video for DJ KHALED's I'm So Hood. Lots of rappers on here: Young Jeezy, T-Pain, Ludacris, Busta Rhymes, Big Boi, Lil Wayne, Fat Joe, Birdman, & Rick Ross, all in their 2000s prime. it's a fitting slice of nostalgia for that time period in hip-hop.

Reacting to GOD STRONG off Montana of 300's 2017 album DON"T DOUBT THE GOD. Chi-town stand up I see y'all. Underrated lyricist.

Golden Country is a rare early 70s REO gem off their second album with a fire organ intro and incredible guitar solo by the late, great Gary Richrath. Enjoy

By popular demand, reacting to Lil Dicky and Chris Brown's cult classic "Freaky Friday"  Listen to Alvin Sane's music on Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/artist/6mRUc495ldnPXT56pSjAMz?si=r_jds9-JR3iD-Fw7k4WUYgAlvin Sane on Soundcloud:  https://soundcloud.com/dukesmusic84

Reacting to "I Got Life" and the gala fight scene from the 1979 film adaptation of Hair. This is the first film reaction on the channel, let me know what y'all think in the comments. Leave a like if you want more reactions to classic movie scenes. Sorry for the feedback on the film audio

Busta's "You Don't Really Know" music video from 2015 featuring J Doe leading off. This one of the forgotten ones from the 2010s where he really spazzed tf out. Enjoy   Listen to Alvin Sane's music on Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/artist/6mRUc495ldnPXT56pSjAMz?si=r_jds9-JR3iD-Fw7k4WUYg Alvin Sane on Soundcloud:  https://soundcloud.com/dukesmusic84

Mick Jagger called Yungblud one of the new British artists he's most excited about and gives him hope for the future of rock. Mick Jagger has never been wrong.

Reacting to Mike Jones' 2006 remix with a special surprise guest. Enjoy Listen to Alvin Sane's music on Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/artist/6mRUc495ldnPXT56pSjAMz?si=r_jds9-JR3iD-Fw7k4WUYg Alvin Sane on Soundcloud:  https://soundcloud.com/mralvinsane

React to Nick Straker's 1979 record A Walk in the Park, performed on Disco 2000. This was one of the earliest music videos. I sampled this record for my first single recorded for the Mental Health Week project: https://open.spotify.com/track/6cpCh4zRxeq5s7fzUiqLeO?si=4af8084aaedb422b

This is different in tone to the other Duke Reacts episodes. It's a more serious reaction to a music video that hits different today because of mental health. Seether - Fine Again video from their 2002 debut Disclaimer. I always thought their frontman Shaun Morgan is an underrated songwriter from the post-grunge era. Enjoy and let me know your thoughts in the comments.

Been waiting to get into this one for awhile. This is among Weird Al's finest works, paying tribute to the legacy and many musical styles of Frank Zappa.    Listen to Alvin Sane on Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/artist/6mRUc495ldnPXT56pSjAMz  Buy Alvin Sane on Apple Music: https://music.apple.com/us/artist/alvin-sane/1556109981  Follow Alvin Sane on Amazon: https://music.ama...

Reacting to a lost 90s classic from the Smashing Pumpkins - with a vintage charismatic performance from the one and only Billy C.

There is no chill, no off switch, no fs given. That would be how to describe Big Buss as he moves in to absolutely lacerate these verses. With a bonus warm up verse courtesy of Lloyd Banks.

Hilly Michaels is the former drummer for Sparks, I believe on their Big Beat record. Calling All Girls was referenced by Weird Al Yankovic in his 1996 song "I Remember Larry" which I used to love as a kid. But the original was so much crazier. Why does nobody remember this song or insane music video? That's why we here for it, enjoy!   CORRECTION: the chorus lyric is "Got everything that my m...

Lost banger from Buss a Buss off the 2001 classic Genesis, featuring a fire hook and verse from Kelis. Busta and Kelis's verses both caught me so far off guard that it took awhile to recover. Enjoy

The man known as Narduwar is one of my favorite hip-hop journalists of all time. This one ran a bit long for a weekly broadcast, but we here for all of them. Enjoy

This song is celebrating it's 20 year anniversary in 2023 and it still hits just as hard today. This is a BK classic, shout to BlackStar, Talib and Mos. Enjoy

Pretenders frontwoman Chrissie Hynde totally spazzed on the last verse, caught me off guard. Fantastic gem from the UK, mid 1980s, off the album Learning to Crawl (1983) Enjoy!

YOUR OLD DROOG is authentic HIP-HOP, staying true to the authentic soul of NYC rap. Shout to the LES, shout to Sway, shout to YOD. Y'all gotta react to this dude too, he fire.

Another gem from the mid-80s, Julian Cope was a British songwriter with a couple hits, this one hit different today I tell ya.

Iggy spazzed on this one, not only losing his voice but taking aim at a variety of targets. One of Iggy Pop's best performances, 5 minutes of pure punk rock fury. From the 2001 album BEAT 'EM UP. Enjoy

Dah Dah DahDah is the second track on his debut album “Who Is Nardo Wick?” in stores now. The chorus is based on Suzanne Vega's "Toms Diner"
