We have a guest!  We welcome Ethan who educates us on Motocross.  We also discuss the explosive start to the Avalanche season, reiterate our concerns over the Nuggets roster construction and their current coach, and lament the sorry state of Colorado's two premier college football programs.  

Football, and baseball, and hockey!  Oh my!  Aaron Rogers makes us eat our words (not really), officiating shenanigans occurred, and one host is surprised by baseball's postseason being upon use (even though it's October).  Also, we mention John Rocker.  Bet you didn't have that on your bingo card!

College football is in full swing, the NFL is underway, and the NHL/NBA are just around the corner.  Thank god European Football is on an international break, of at least one of our hosts might have a bit of a breakdown.  Also, Road Bo Nix is BAAAAACK!!!

It's been about a month, so we have a lot to cover.  Today we discuss the location of the Broncos new stadium and its phalic implications.  We also talk about all the headlines LSU has been making, as well as the Clippers retuning to the rightful place as the NBA punchline, the start of the NFL season, and our own fantasy football league.  

Prepare for our deep dive into Christopher Nolan's "The Odyssey"!  Just kidding.  Today we discuss news around the NFL, from the Hall of Fame game to Kyler Murray being named the Vikings starter, to Raiders players being suspended for doing Raiders' ass things.  We also discuss the NFL's 33rd team and the $12.5 billon sale of the Lakers.  

Were back in the studio after two weeks and...Chris is still dealing with a bit of jet lag and Corey tries to take advantage of it by getting him to divulge his Fantasy Football draft strategy.  We also talk a little about the Rockies and Royals (very little) and...other...stuff.  Ibiza is fun.

We continue our discussion of the Monday Night Wars, focusing on the rise of WCW then their unceremonious plummet that led to the company being purchased by their chief rival, WWE.

In today's episode, we wax poetic(ish) about a simpler time when professional wrestling was king and kayfab was still a thing (sort of).  We discuss the events that led up to the WWF/WCW rivalry as well as the origins of our pro wrestling fandom and how it went from being a guilty pleasure to entering the zeitgeist of pop culture.

The World Cup Final is set!  We discus that and some dumb stuff Alexi Lalas said (doesn't narrow it down, I know).  We also talk about sports gambling, golfers losing their minds because they don't know the rules, and narcissistic team owners, sorry, owners of teams that display the behavior of a narcissist.  

The U.S. is no longer in the World Cup, but, hey, did we really expect anything different?  We also discuss the Rockies.  More accurately, we share the reasons we do not pay as close attention to them as we used to (Spoilers: it's ownership).  We also touch on the NCAA football story that just.  Won't.  Die.  And, no, it has nothing to do with Colorado.

Backyard Bleachers is at full strength, but they still...  Today we discuss a number of topics.  From Phil Mickelson displaying the behavior of a sex pest (adding to is extensive list of faults), to NBA and NHL free agency, re trades, to the World Cup and the absolute dumbest rule in all of sport.  Also, LeBron a Nugget?!?!

Corey is on vacay, so Chris is flying solo.  Today is a quick hitter to get up to date on the sports events.  The NBA Finals, Stanley Cup Final, and return of Mike Babcock are covered.  

Our hosts give a postmortem on the Avs getting unceremoniously bounced from the Stanley Cup Playoffs by the VGK.  We discus went wrong and where they go from here.  Basically, it's the same as episode  2, just sub the Avs for the Nuggets.

We discuss the end of the Nuggets season and where they go from here.  In happy news, the Avs are still rolling, so YAY.  Also, one of the hosts drops one of my core principles he lives by.  Listen till the end.
