In week eight of our class, action and encouragement take center stage. Soul winning is not simply an individual activity. Local churches must seek to develop a culture of zeal for reaching the lost — and to keep that fire burning from one generation to the next.

The pursuit of soulwinning does not just impact the recipient, but the life of the soulwinner as well. In Week 7, we consider the ledger that a soulwinner contends with - both costs willingly taken on for this glorious pursuit and the consequent rewards given to the soulwinner by our ever-loving and generous king.

Training children in the ways of Jesus might seem like a daunting and thankless task. But you do not need to feel that way. In week 6 of our class, we will take a look at the many exhortations to evangelize to children, to “feed the lambs” the word of God, as well as some real and practical ways to accomplish this.

Pastor Matt continues in the series "Soul Winning with Spurgeon". In week five of our class, the sinner’s deadness is diagnosed and dealt with. The unsaved are experts in obstructing a soul winner’s efforts, but it is God's sovereign grace that overcomes the most insurmountable obstacles.

In week four of our class, Spurgeon offers insight on how we deliver the message of God’s holiness and grace. Tactful evangelism is often blessed as fruitful soul winning — which is why we ought to be students of the people we yearn to see converted to Christ.
