In this week we look at classical proofs for the existence of God. We look at the difference between general revelation and special revelation, as a Christian understands philosophy's place in understanding and proving God's attributes and existence. We also look at three types of arguments advocated by philosophers: the cosmological, the axiological, and the teleological.

This class discusses ethics, the study of right and wrong. We look at the place and reason for ethical studies, and make clear where a Christian's ethic is grounded: God's moral perfection. We then examine the four criteria standard in ethical frameworks and how a Christian should interpret these and the frameworks that implement them.

In this week, we looked at the philosophy of science. We talk about why science requires a philosophy, and how Christians can seek to understand science's role in our lives better by thinking philosophically. We take another look at philosophical naturalism, to examine how scientism and its other forms undercut themselves philosophically.

This class discusses metaphysics, the study of what is real. We look at the difference between two metaphysical theories, naturalists and ontologists, believers in nothing but nature and believers in more than nature respectively. The Christian worldview is clear in its support of one and the falsehood of the other, and so we examine the arguments for the existence of non-material entities.

In this class, we looked at the existence and attributes of truth. We examine different theories of truth and discover how the Biblical understanding of truth is the correct interpretation of reality. We also spend some time examining relativism, the idea that something can be true for some people and false for others, and what its application is in a Christian worldview.

In this class, we discuss epistemology, the study of what we can know. We look at different avenues of knowledge, as well as the problem of skepticism, and how the Christian can rest easily in the Biblical understanding of epistemology.
