The Wanz
Wanzology
A place where contemplation, meditation, manifestation and rejuvenation are welcomed and embraced. You are one of billions of the only species of human being on the planet. While we have many languages, customs, cultures, etc...on a high level, we are more similar than we think. Hopefully, a deeper understanding of yourself as well as your self (two words) will identify more points of similarity with other humans. The goal isn't to create worldwide peace and harmony but to allow space where patience, acceptance and tolerance provide a path away from the granularities that divide us.

What If? 15.01.2025 19:56
With so many possibilities, we humans have to decide more things than we realize. I pose the question, "What If?" What If is the gateway to possibility!! There's a cool 'mind experiment' near the end of this episode...a challenge if you will.

Ever notice you have a certain situation happen again and again in your life that robs you of your joy or hurts others? When's the last time you challenged what you 'thought' you knew in order to find a new way of thinking?

Once you've identified a problem and chosen a path of resolution, what is that space between the action and evaluating the results of that action? In Between. In Between the problem and the solution.
Down... 11.12.2024 20:39
I've starting a journey to find my authentic self, wanna come along?

Depression 27.11.2024 21:46
As a long time depression sufferer, I wanted to share a few points I've noticed and how I defend against depression.
Acceptance 13.11.2024 22:21
"...and the wisdom to know the difference." It's not a matter of 'if' you accept what happens in your life, it's 'how'! You always have the choice of 'how' you accept what happens in your life!
The Election... 06.11.2024 17:07
(This recording was made hours before any election results were reported)
What Are You Afraid Of? 30.10.2024 29:23
Happy Halloween!!! Everyone is afraid of something. What scares you? What scares me is some of the things I tell myself. Don't be scrrrd, even when the 'calls' are coming from 'inside the house'...or your head.
Mistakes 23.10.2024 21:05
We all make mistakes. Some turn them into a weight that drags their life down, some never admit they make them. Most, take them in stride as a small side effect of being human. Which are you??
Keepin' The Pace 16.10.2024 23:08
Keeping the pace, don't get left behind. That's what most of us humans try to do. Keep up with 'The Jones', having as much or more than another person. Being 'better than' someone else can be a mind trap until you realize who your competition really is...
Gettin' Old 10.10.2024 21:13
Every second, each of us is getting older. On my 63rd birthday, I thought I'd share my perspective on 'gettin' old'.
Old Friends 02.10.2024 19:39
I went to visit a group of old friends. I was totally amazed!! I never thought I would ever have 'old friends'! If you have them, cherish them.
The Deception 25.09.2024 21:57
When we compare ourselves to others, sometimes wishing we were more like them, we treat ourselves to a 'deception' in our minds. We think if we had what someone else has, we'd be happier...most times, we never reach that 'happy'.
Heart Of The Matter 19.09.2024 23:38
The Don Henley song, "Heart Of The Matter" was on my mind. We sometimes expect things from people, places, things and situations. When those expectations go unmet, we can feel 'some sort of way'. "...I think it's about forgiveness! Forgiveness!! Even if, even if you don't love me anymore."
Being Mediocre... 11.09.2024 22:54
Eleven years after Thrift Shop, I think of myself as mediocre more often. Do you ever think of yourself as "so-so'?
Procrastination 04.09.2024 22:46
Procrastination. Everyone has it, does it, denies it or ignores it. How do I deal with it? I'll tell ya!
The Beauty Of Gettin Old... 28.08.2024 22:16
We're all gettin older. But are we gettin wiser? Are we learning from others as well as from ourselves? Once we start to see our growth, going through things seems a bit more worth it.
A Little Humility... 21.08.2024 24:15
My first trip to Australia while touring with Macklemore taught me a very valuable lesson. Well, a you fan taught me a lesson in humility I thought I'd share to demonstrate the advantages of changing one's perspective when it comes to people's passions or points of view.
While You're Waiting for Someone To Help You, Remember... 14.08.2024 24:13
I think some of us lose that innate deductive ability. Some of us would rather have someone else figure stuff out for us. Why is that? Why do we not challenge ourselves more? Shouldn't we?
Without light, there would only be darkness... 07.08.2024 20:02
We tend to think of most things as extremes, like a light switch, either something's good or bad, on or off. What if we were better at recognizing the space between the extremes and could choose not to go to them?
All That Anything Is Is All That Everything Was 31.07.2024 20:26
Everything comes from something. If we want to 'do' and 'be' better, we have to recognize the difference between the present and the past. If we don't recognize how we got to this moment, we may repeat the same mistakes.

Sometimes, you just never know...so guess! What have you got to lose? What have you got to learn??? Give yourself a chance to do your best and leave the rest.
One Must Respect The Differences 17.07.2024 17:09
Fact. No two people are exactly alike. Fact. There is only one species of human being on the planet. With all the obvious differences between cultures, religions, languages, and dialects, one would think we'd seek out those who are more like us. Well, we do.
