Waikura Kamo, of Ngāti Mutunga o Wharekauri, Ngāpuhi Te Rarawa, Te Ātiawa o Taranaki, and Ngāti Kahungunu ki Wairarapa, carries the legacy of her tīpuna with strength and grace. As Kaiwhakahaere at the Nursing Council, she champions equity, Te Tiriti, and Māori excellence—uplifting whānau, profession, and future generations with purpose.

(Ngāti Porou, Te Aitanga a Hauiti, Ngāi Tāmanuhiri, Te Whānau o Rongomaiwahine) has spent over 40 years uplifting Māori mental health. Born in Hastings and raised in Tāmaki, he walks with the strength of his tūpuna—healer, teacher, and kaumātua—guiding others with aroha, cultural integrity, and unwavering wairua.

(Ngāti Awa, Ngāti Pūkeko, Ngāi Tūhoe, Ngāti Maniapoto, Ngāi Tahu) is a trailblazing Māori mental health nurse, educator, and Tiriti advocate. As Co-Director Kāhui o te Ihi-Mental Health and Addictions at Te Toka Tumai, she leads clinical governance and nursing innovation rooted in whakapapa, tikanga and Te Tiriti o Waitangi, uplifting whānau wellbeing across Aotearoa.
