The Wide Woman Podcast

Health EN ↓ 10 episodes

This is for all the women that want to become so wide that they can hold ALL of life. Listening to this podcast will help you stretch wide enough to hold your shame, your shit, and your brilliance at your root - without collapsing or cutting short. I'm Anne, a psychologist, trauma survivor, and embodiment & pleasure guide. Trained by textbooks, yes, but also by warzones, sexual violence, and the wild tenderness of womanhood itself. You are not too much, too sensitive or too fragile. You are just not wide enough yet. And I’m here to help you become wider than anything life throws at you.

Good Girl. Regulated Girl. Same Cage - Why "Regulated" is Just Another Way to Make You Manageable. 16.04.2026

This episode starts with real anger. My anger that I met when rockets were landing not far from where I was working. When I had to be evacuated again , when I had to leave colleagues behind because I have a passport and they don't, and then land back in a quiet Spanish village with nowhere to put any of it. I share how I navigated my healthy flight response (escape!), and what it took to final...

Wider in Conflict - The Activism of Staying Present 04.12.2025

This episode looks like it’s about me in a conflict zone, but really it’s about the war we all carry under our own skin. It’s the tug of personal need against external demand, the moments where life shouts “run faster, do more” and you feel the old temptations to shrink, speed, perform, disappear. It’s the exact crossroads where your child parts reach for the steering wheel and you choose not to h...

The Forgotten Map Of Our Pelvis - Where Safety, Shame & Pleasure Meet 31.10.2025

This episode goes straight to the root. Literally. Most women can speak about trauma and nervous system regulation, but freeze when asked to map their own pelvis. We were never taught that the body’s deepest aliveness lives in the places we’ve been taught to avoid: the pelvic bowl, the perineum, the cervix, the pelvic floor. The sacred gateway between safety and pleasure. In this juicy, unfiltered...

Advanced Relationality: Beyond Cancel Culture into Mature Connection 06.10.2025

Post-grad humaning: nuance, duality and real intimacy in a polarised world. We live in a world that cancels fast. Disagree with me and you’re out. Block. Unfollow. Goodbye nuance. Goodbye learning. Goodbye intimacy. In this episode I open up about what I call the “post-grad level of humaning”: advanced relationality. I share how my own path - from early Buddhist training to sitting with the Taliba...

Life as a Web: Presence, Resonance, Rupture and Relationality with Katja Markelova 11.09.2025

What makes life bearable - even magical - when everything feels too much? You will receive the answer in this podcast, through all the ruptures we encountered 🐝 In this episode I sit with the extraordinary Katja Markelova, my mythical teacher (“similar to Joe Dispenza, but more fun!”) and a multidimensional being lives as a bridge between worlds. Katja’s field is one of resonance: being with her...

Wider Than The Fight - When Two Recovering-People-Pleasers Clash 03.09.2025

Conflict isn’t the problem. Staying small to avoid it is. In this episode, I sit down again with my partner Steve to open the curtain on what actually happens when two recovering-people-pleasers clash, rupture, and then choose to repair. If you’ve ever swallowed your anger just to keep the peace… If you’ve ever numbed your needs to stay “lovable”… If you’ve ever feared that being too much would ma...

Beyond Broken Through Tidal Waves - From Trauma To Resonance 11.08.2025

It was time for something personal. A glimpse behind the curtain of how I went from five dense pages of trauma history to becoming a wide woman. I share the therapies and modalities that held me, how I finally landed in somatics, kairos time, and nervous system health, and how every single pattern I ever developed made sense. This is a vulnerable telling of what it’s like to live with an ancestral...

What It Takes to Love a Wide Woman - My Partners’ Perspective 30.07.2025

What does it take to love a Wide Woman? “ In conversation with the man who gets to love me.” In this intimate episode, Anne sits down with her partner Steve to talk about what real polarity and embodied mature relationality looks like. Together, they speak on: What it actually means to be a “wide woman” How emotional maturity changes everything in love How co-regulated rage can be hotter than sex...

Plugged into the Cosmos: Why My Body Opens in the Middle East 25.07.2025

In this episode, I take you into the heat, pulse, and mythic energy of the Middle East and share how my body opens the moment I land there. This is a story of somatic wizardry, cosmic fields, and the love affair I’ve had with this part of the world for almost a decade. I also guide you through a simple but powerful orientation + resourcing practice , so you can experience your body in a different...

What It Really Means to Stay With Your Body Even When the World Is Burning 15.07.2025

What does it actually mean to stay with yourself when your nervous system is screaming “GET OUT”? In this raw and real first episode, Anne shares a true story from her recent trip to Qatar where she was invited to teach her magic, all while a war raged just across the water. This isn’t just a story about Qatar. It’s about the moment her body wanted to run, and she chose to stay. You’ll hear: 🔥 Wh...
