It's Thanksgiving Jesus Day today. How do we become a person full of thanksgiving? What are we avoiding by living a life of thanks?  Have a blessed week full of thanks!

Citing Romans 13 as a reason for following ALL of the laws of the gov't is annoying. One just has to recall the worst gov'ts of history to know that this can't be a good guiding principle.  And besides, if we are busy trying to obey gov't laws and regulations, aren't we just obeying humanity, not God? So, the Democrats won big in the elections last week; isn't that the pattern these days? One side wins big, but it does not solve or resolve anything, in fact things get worse. Perhaps it is a problem with how we understand the concept of "conquer". How do we become MORE than conquerors?  Peace and Blessings to you.

Jesus Day. At least I can keep doing these videos while I'm trying to survive the first year of teaching new subjects at a new school.  Anyway, Hypocrisy has been on my mind a lot these days because there's just so much of it in society. Sunday once again. Ever notice that when people talk about money in the bible, readers then think of various charities that rich people should contribute to? I think this is a recent phenomenon, like "the last couple of hundred years because of American prosperity" recent. But if that's true, what is it to be rich toward God no matter the time period??

What are the excellent things and what does it mean for us as believers AND non-believers?? Looks a bit like Meritocracy vs Inflation, no? Blessings and Peace.

Jesus-day again. Not sure if you heard but some people thought that they were going to be raptured or taken to heaven this past week. They were so confident. Where does that confidence come from and how do we know that it is not misplaced but based on True Faith?

Jesus Day on the channel.  The Apostle Paul exhorted believers to speak good words which build up others... but how do we do this when what we say is classified as "hate speech." In fact, Jesus would be accused of engaging in hate speech. How are we to understand this and live out our faith in a world full of ignorance? Blessings and Peace.

I haven't been able to do daily episodes so I going to try to do a "Recap" episode. This might be what I'll be doing until summer rolls around. Though I did discuss some issues in my sermon today, I go over some of the bigger stories of the last 10 days and tie them together for a big picture overview. Stay Safe, Peace.

The assassination of Charlie Kirk shows us how intolerant society has become. Let's try to understand where it all comes from and how we are to live in the face of so much disorder and violence. Peace.

Sunday is Jesus Day...  What is it to abide in the Lord? If abiding in the Lord gives us privilege, is it the privilege to ignore law and justice like many politicians these days? Blessing and Peace.

I saw a video of the presidents of China, Russia, and India in a circle laughing and having a grand old time. I saw the end of dollar privilege right there. What is it and what does that have to do with White Privilege?

Labor Day 2025, let's take a look at this wide celebration of monopolies. Of course, what would be better is Freedom Day. Everyday should be Freedom Day.

There are many things in the news today. I'm going to offer my subjective take on events that I have not mentioned before. China and Silver and Gold, Russian LNG, and the uncertainty of the future.

Props to my wife for telling me about the property tax fraud/scam video from ITM trading.  Just how representative is the story coming out of Scotland about the young girl trying to protect herself against an adult migrant and his sister? It's terribly disturbing and I just don't understand. And finally, the US sends warships to Venezuela. But What does China do?

My wife and I finished Game of Thrones last weekend and one could see many of the lessons and power dynamics described by Machiavelli in his "book" The Prince. There are lessons here for us when we think of our own gov't.

The news says that the gov't purchase of 10% of INTEL's stock is an investment; it's a bailout. It's also fascistic, that is, smacks of fascism.  But I'm a fascist, too... most of the time. Truly.

Sunday is Jesus Day. The Apostle Paul cautioned believer to avoid people who are divisive and cause conflicts. But differentiation is a part of life; how do we differentiate without conflict? But doing it the Jesus way.

If I haven't mentioned it before, I try to keep up with a variety of news so that I have a "take" to share with my family and church congregation. So, I go over some news stories of note over the past 24 hours. Next, I break down a meme I saw yesterday on capitalism and starvation. 

One might have heard this expression of government picking winners and losers. This often happens through legislation, but I go over several other ways this occurs, and people generally do not perceive it as a "picking winners and losers" situation.  Related to this is the Wellington UT situation of a 225% property tax increase.

I hope the title is provocative enough for you to have a listen. Being America first is a great idea, but it seems that most people simply don't know what it means and how to make it happen. My take on the matter. Thank you for your attention. haha

A different take on the Trump Putin meeting which I thought was interesting courtesy of Alex Krainer and Maneco64. This makes me opine on the benefits of small government and my own personal test of my belief in small gov't. It's controversial, to say the least.
