Jesus Day today is Mother's Day or Parent's Day in Asian reckoning. How do we honor our parents in these days of superficiality? Peace and Blessings!

Jesus Day again. The Lord spoke through Ezekiel to counter a popular understanding to focus on the individual and the choices that individual makes. This is a great teaching because it means we are not condemned by association and racialization. Blessings and Peace.

Happy Jesus day. Today let's discuss purification of the soul. Challenging. Then let's discuss the environment that this can happen best (Free society) and then let's figure out what we do with all that Freedom. Blessings.

Jesus Day and we are discussing the Confession of Faith, that is, how do you know your faith is real or not? It's tricky primarily because laying out a specific act as an indication of faith creates a moral hazard, or an idol. Something so fundamental and foundational and something which often is confused. What do we do and how do we live a genuine life of faith? Blessings and Peace.

Jesus Day once again. How do we acquire wisdom and understanding and what are we to do with them? Do we use them to control others? Or do we acquire Wisdom and Understanding to be Free? More Freedom and Peace, Please!

Happy Easter! This Sunday is a special Jesus Day. It is unfortunate that we were not one of the early disciples who could have seen Jesus in person. But where does that leave us? Thomas didn't believe until he saw... How do we believe without seeing? May you be blessed and we all see Peace in the world... soon.

Palm Sunday. We all know that many people sang Jesus' praises at the beginning of the week but then were nowhere to be found at the end of the week. Why is that; what was the substance of their praise? How do we avoid the same mistake? Blessing and Peace to us all!

For Jesus Day we are looking at 2Peter chapter 1. Though people would prefer to forget the sins of the past, we are called to remember them. Sunday means Jesus Day. What a week and it certainly is a challenge for people who are trying to live by faith. Yes, I talk about the War with Iran, Yes, I probably upset people at my church and will here as well. But c'mon, where is the Peace? What is peace? And how do we get some? Blessings to you and to us all.

Jesus Day again. Conforming means to become like everyone else. I don't think that's what the Apostle Paul was talking about when he wrote that we must transform through renewal. In other words, we are not supposed to transform only to look and sound and act like everyone else. Blessings and Peace.

Jesus Day again and we are going to talk about Love... again. Yesterday was Valentine's Day so it's somewhat timely. There's a lot of confusion in the church, but God's Love is NOT an emotion. It is radically different. We need more of it today if we, as a country, are to get out of this mess.

So, good fruit and good words, what might they be? People do not like good words as much as they claim. Why not? And how do believers live a life full of the good fruit of good words? Peace.

Jesus Day again and though the snows have not melted yet, we were able to have or normal services. Today, I discuss living quietly. What is it to be quiet? Quiet living often hints at stability. Should this be the goal of our lives, a stable quiet life? What do we do about time and change? Peace and blessings.

Jesus Day again... AND the second snow day in a row.  This message was from 2023, but it explains how I understand the mark of faith. In other words, many people use markers which become a moral hazard. I try to reduce that risk while adding a bigger upside to living by faith, Growth. Stay safe and temperate wherever you are. It's Jesus Day again AND it's a snow day. Because of the weather in this area, I had to cancel services for various reasons. So, I recorded a sermon from Feb 2018 focusing on an oft quoted verse. I try to give my take on Phil 4:13 and what it may mean for us today.

It's Sunday which makes it Jesus day. It's Christmas Jesus day as it happens, our church has its Christmas service the Sunday before Christmas day. Jesus' birth means dramatic change for everyone and in the USA, people generally do not like change. In other words, people say they want the Lord's Rule, but do they really? It's Sunday so it must be Jesus Day. To be zealous is not unusual. However, do we know when we have drifted into fanaticism? How can we be Godly if it appears to be fanatical to the very people we are trying to witness to? Blessings and Peace.
