The Subjective Professor Podcast

I've heard this expression used for other phenomena, let's use it and actually see it with the state.  The gov't is not some heroic entity which makes mistakes occasionally, it is something far worse. I guess I'm just venting. Less Socialism, more Freedom, please.

There's a K-Drama on Netflix called "Teach you a lesson." I watched it all with my wife and it was interesting enough for me to watch it all the way through. This often does not happen with Korean Dramas and me.  I go over the basic premise of the program and a better way to resolve the problems which arise in troubled education system, in Korea or in the US.

Oooh. Hot topic. Was it too hot? All I'm going to attempt to do is point out why things have degenerated to the point they have and what it means for the future.  Believe what you want to believe, just leave me out of it.

There are many lessons which can be learned because of this most recent war with Iran. The one lesson I want to talk about today is the mythical Iron Dome. The defense system of Israel which the US/Trump is trying to improve with the Golden Dome. Dream on.

Hope you had a great July 4th weekend. It is the celebration of the birth of the USA. An important idea of July 4th is the concept of Freedom. Unfortunately, it is a concept which is misunderstood by many in this heavily propagandized world. This episode touches on a bit of personal history to set up an explanation on one aspect of how a free society is supposed to function.

All of the lying we hear today in the US is a bit frustrating. Some would call it strategic lying, perhaps it is socialization or simply propaganda; whatever one might call it, most of it is untrue.  What would Sun Tzu say about it? We can say confidently that lying is expensive.

I've been avoiding talking about the wars and stupidity of our leaders for a few days because they are too depressing. I stumbled on "Europeans visiting the US" because of the World Cup matches, and they were funny. It turns out my wife has been watching them for days.  So, I'm going to ruin them by analyzing them racially. You are welcome.  

In response to a comment from yesterday's episode... I re-present my explanation of "resetting perspective". It almost feels like I'm back in the classroom already... students push back and I give my response. So, much fun.

A couple of thoughts I had last night... Democratic Socialism and the Freedom Hating West/USA.

Jesus Day and just a couple of days after the US engaged in perfidy... again.  Clearly, many people have a strange understanding of peace.  Believers must not be confused and should not be confused if we live by Faith with Jesus as our Corner Stone. Blessings and Peace.

What might be more click-baitish than professional racist comedians? Asking which is more racist, marriage or war?  Again, if you have been following this channel, then you know it's all just subjective and it's a trick question. Enjoy.

The title is not clickbait, especially if you know who Arynne Wexler is. I have only listened to a couple of reels of her act, it inspired this episode and the title. In fact, she calls herself a professional racist... an expression I have used myself in class, it's funny in a college classroom, too. So, I return to the topic of comedy and offer some more takeaways from the professional racists of...

This episode goes into the USE of race to manipulate policy and individual choice. We are doomed to participate in generalizing people into categories for better and worse. The consequences of blindly believing racializations are broad and significant... e.g. fake news and Nuclear powered missiles.

Black Markets have a bad reputation and perhaps they don't really deserve it. Not only do black markets exist in prisons, but they are impossible to eradicate in society because of the infinite desire of humans.

When I heard "Thucydides Trap" I thought o, yea, one country tricking another more powerful country into helping them start an idiotic war. Well, that's not what people meant by Thucydides Trap, so I will re-discuss my version of the Thucydides Trap. And yes, the part of Corinth is played by Israel.

Sunday, Jesus Day. What is the price of faith? How many people actually understand and pay? What is the relative value of things in the world? If people always choose for what has more value, how do we know we are making the right choice? Peace and Blessings.

A behind the scenes peek at what I say to a groom and his groomsmen just before we head out for the wedding. He may not really be listening haha The topic came up a couple of times recently so I thought I would share with all of you. It may not be your cup of tea, but it is a subjective perspective for your reference.

It's not Sunday and I'm prepping for my return to the university classroom this fall. In other words, I'm reviewing my teaching methods/concepts after 3 years out of the game. Today I'm taking a look at "race" using the concepts of subjectivity, collectivism and individualism. Or, race done well or race done badly.

Jesus Day. Partial knowledge is another way of saying subjective knowledge. How do we live by faith when we only know bits and pieces of the word of God? Hopefully I will answer that question. Blessings and Peace.

Jesus Day.  Can one receive Life, Righteousness and Glory by seeking Life, Righteousness and Glory? (*no*). So, how does one receive those worthy objectives and be happy? Blessings and Peace.

Jesus Day and only 2 more weeks till summer break and I will be done with middle school education.  But today we are talking about one mind, unity, united... what is it and how do we get it? The idea is that if we are united, then there's no more war. That's good... but do we have to become boring? Blessings and Peace.

Jesus Day... Memorial Day Sunday. War and more war, why? What happened to being followers of the Prince of Peace?? And on Memorial Day are we remembering what we ought to remember, that is, how awful war is? These days, it seems that BBQs, picnics and going to the beach is what Memorial Day is celebrating.  What does this have to do with the believer and faith? Let's see if I got it right. Blessin...
