Going over the Inaugural speech of Donald Trump. I was surprised to like most of it. I go over the whole speech but skip as many of the platitudes as possible. It was a very interesting speech. And... Ross Ulbricht is free!

I watched part 1 of Atlas Shrugged and thought I would give you something else to listen to other than the inauguration of Trump. Ayn Rand wrote the novel of the same title, and I thought I would share some thoughts.

Sunday Jesus Day on this channel. And it's a Snow Day, too. Thus, I'll save my sermon that I prepared for today for next week and upload a sermon from Jan 22, 2017.  Since I was installed as the senior pastor in 2005, I have not preached the same sermon twice. It's kind of neat that I get to give a sermon from back in the day. Blessings and Peace.

I'm doing my Martin Luther King Jr (MLK) Episode ahead of the Martin Luther King Jr holiday on Monday.  I want to talk about his "I have a Dream" speech which he gave in 1963. In other words, I want to focus on the message, not the messenger.

Saw a news story the other day at school about how Medical debt will no longer be included in credit checks for lenders. Then a passing thought heard on the Judge Nap interview with Col Lawrence Wilkerson - something I have not heard anywhere else. Finally, I am a member of a family of "trouble makers." It's a cool story... at least from by POV.

A little break from current event commentary with a lesson from the 7th grade history textbook I'm using. Today we read about the Boston Tea Party. The way the text described the Party led to a 40 minute discussion. I'm sure they were hanging on every word.

It seems that every time I look at my news feed, there's bad news. And my hope that Trump would do right by his campaign promises... well, it's on life support. In light of that, we should focus on being one's best.  

Sunday is Jesus day on this channel. We are going to look at Repentance; that is, a kind of admission of being wrong. Some of us have a hard time with this... but we shouldn't. Repentance is Growth. Peace and blessings!

Yes, when my brothers and I were born, my parents had no health insurance. How did they swing it and not go bankrupt for life? I also share ONE possible way that health care got so expensive and what an alternative might be. The episode wraps up with a passing comment on the Zuck and his incentives.

This episode uses some current news stories to further explain and apply some of the ideas I have brought up in recent episodes. Postmodernism, Socialism, Truth, morality, cost, consequences, and politicians. Peace!

People throw these terms around as if they are more than what they actually are. So, I'm here to explain SIMPLY these academic 50 dollar words. And then we close with some remarks about Trump's desire for Greenland.

People try to confuse the understanding and explanation of this concept, but it is simple, really. The process of making our society more socialistic is truly... bad.

Sunday is Jesus day. The first Sunday of 2025. Trigger warning as some like to say... I get a bit harsh today... but still lots of room and potential grace for everyone. The ability to count our days indicates wisdom, but how do we establish a good set of priorities in a world awash with Misinformation?? Peace and Blessings.

Happy New Year! I hope you had a great start for the year. I want to start with an idea that has popped into my head because of a book I am reading. Balkanization... breaking up into smaller hostile parts. A nice juicy subject to begin the year with.

Assimilation rant ahead. I researched the concept of assimilation for my doctoral dissertation and basically it is an example of bad racism. It was a standard for WHITES to strive for and if you weren't white, don't even think about it. Because it is a concept rooted in superficial arbitrary discrimination, it had lots of negative consequences.  Perhaps we should remember the true villain here and...

I have a ton of respect for Vivek Ramaswamy but he stirred up some controversy with a tweet regarding prom queens, jocks, and engineers. While I am sympathetic to his tweet, there are some subtle subjectivities which some might miss. Some thoughts from an Asian who had disappointed Tiger parents.

Happy Christmas Eve! Let's talk Festivus for the Restofus. Gov't Waste, it's a thing and it has been around a LOT longer than people think. Outrageous and I hope that people who have overseen it will get what they deserve so the rest of us can know Peace once again.

A light topic for my week of kicking back and taking things easy. I once had a student who asked to be excused for class for team practice. League of Legends practice. That is the spark for today's episode. May your subjectivity be challenged.

Sunday is Jesus Day for the Subjective Professor. In fact, it's Christmas Sunday for us in this church. It seems that too many believers have forgotten the message of Peace. Let's have a little reminder today as we celebrate the Birth of Christ.

I had a relapse in being ill, but now I'm on the mend! I heard a Jimmy Dore episode he had with Leonarda Jonie, the most banned female comic. It was a great episode, and I wanted to summarize and highlight Jonie's discussion and add my 2 cents.

Because of time constraints, I share a memory from the past but one that is still relevant today. It was a time that someone congratulated me for teaching my kids how to speak English. At least he didn't say "American". I share a couple other related stories and explain my theory on how something like this became offensive to people who went to college.
