Yep, that's right zucchini (or courgettes as my fancy pants husband likes to call them). I first tried this delicious soup on my first trip to Marrakesh over a decade ago, and it is something I have eaten on every trip back since. It is a filling Moroccan soup, traditionally eaten at the break of fast in Ramadan. It normally contains chickpeas or lentils or a mix of both, but I have substituted these ingredients with a mountain of veg! The spices create the same awesome Moroccan flavo...

This Paleo version can be knocked together in 15 minutes, is free from all the nasties in the shop-bought variety and will keep for a month. It will add a bit of oomph to otherwise plain grilled fish or stir-fried veg. It's also fantastic as a dipping sauce. Feel free to try this with garlic instead of ginger, or add...

InnerFight podcast #123 Cajun Chicken 08.06.2014 13:16
This has become a bit of a favourite go-to, midweek meal at our house. Not only is it reasonably quick and easy to knock together, but any leftover chicken makes a fab lunch the next day in a salad or a lettuce wrap. This one has a bit of a kick to it, so if you're not a big fan or it's for the kids, just add less cayenne and white pepper, problem solved.

InnerFight podcast #114 Sweet potato and chorizo frittata 18.05.2014 12:41
Sitting at the breakfast buffet in Barcelona eyeing off the traditional Tortilla Espanola, I contemplated whether it would work as well with sweet potato. Obviously as soon as I arrived home I gave it a shot. Then it dawned on me, why just stop at two simple flavours of egg and potato when I can really pump some taste in there with a few more ingredients? You will need to use a frypan that goes fr...

InnerFight podcast #106 Mango Chutney 27.04.2014 13:19
I walked past the little fruit and veg shop at the end of my street yesterday and he had fresh little Alphonso mangoes out the front, begging me to take them home. Of course I couldn't resist! Being mad for condiments and sauces, I set straight to work turning them into chutney.
