What is THE CHURCH? Well, it's comprised of people who believe in the God of the Bible. They have come to the realization that they are sinners in need of a Savior. And with that realization, they have confessed and repented of their sins. They have received God's free gift of salvation. And now, by His life-changing grace, they commit to walking in HIS ways...not mans.

As believers, we sometimes get wrapped up in what's around us. We love to fellowship with like-minded believers. We enjoy studying the Scriptures. And while these are all GREAT things to do...we can't forget to SERVE. God has called us to be His hands and His feet. We're to take the truth of the Word...we're to take His love...and minister to others.

There are many misconceptions about eternity today. Many people don't even believe in the existence of a literal Heaven and Hell. And those who DO believe, they base their eternal destination upon how GOOD they are. None of these views are accurate. Heaven and Hell DO exist. And WHO we choose to follow during THIS existence... determines where we will end up.

You've heard it said before, but the fact still remains...that we were not just saved for our own benefit. Sure, God loves each and every one of us and desires that we accept His salvation. But He also wants to change us and USE US for His ministry. Our new lives in HIM should be used to draw OTHERS to His Word and to bring Him glory.

Without God, we have nothing. He has blessed us with food to eat, clothes to wear, and shelter to sleep under. He truly IS the Great Provider for His children. And just as WE have freely received...we should also FREELY give. So seek the Father for opportunities where YOU can bless others. Give of your time, your talents, and your possessions. Give of YOURSELF.

Are you born again? Have you been forgiven and set free from the bondage of sin? Does the Spirit of God dwell within you? Is the powerful grace of the Father changing you from the inside out? Are you bearing REAL FRUIT? You see, many people today CLAIM to be believers. And while they might be able to fool some...God knows their hearts.

As believers in the Bible, we can all agree that one day, Jesus will return. Now there are many differing opinions as to when and how that will all take place. But ask yourself this: What does GOD have to say about the second coming of the Messiah? We can find out the answer to this question...by reading the Word.

As Christians, we understand that this world is not our home. We're only here for a short time. And while we ARE here, we're to be about our Father's business. It's important to not get wrapped up in the trivial things of this world. But instead, let's be eternally minded. Let's seek first our Heavenly Father...and HIS Kingdom.

The Scriptures teach us to love the Lord with all our heart, soul, and mind. But HOW do we love Him? You see, our words aren't REALLY an expression of our love. If you truly LOVE someone, that love will be expressed through actions. This is consistent with what Jesus said in the book of John. He said: If you love Me, keep my commandments.

Often times, when the book of Revelation is read, it brings about fear or anxiety. But for those of us who have faith in the God of the Bible...for those of us who love and follow the Messiah...we have no reason to fear. You see, it doesn't matter what happens around us... or even TO us. God has promised to never leave His children.

Do the things of the world hold your affections? Do the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life CONTROL you? Well as believers, we're to live IN the world, but not OF the world. We can't allow the desires of the world to sway our actions and words. Instead, we're to focus on God and HIS word. Doing so will keep us focused on the things that matter.

In today's message, we will be given the exhortation to not wait. If you hear the Lord calling...respond TODAY. The Scriptures teach us that TODAY is the day of salvation. Don't wait for your life to fall apart. And on the flip-side, don't try to fix YOURSELF before coming to God. He wants you...just as you are. Then HE will begin the process of change in your heart.

The two witnesses in the last days, regardless of WHO they will be, should encourage us to be great witnesses...TODAY. Christian, are you taking a stand for the truth of the Scriptures? Are you committed to being a living...breathing testimony of God's goodness? You see, we're to be those who share of His salvation... NOW.

Throughout the years, we've heard many different ideas as to who the TWO witnesses in the last days will be. Some say Moses, some say Elijah. Others speculate that it could be Enoch. But regardless of WHO these two will be, we know one thing is true. They will take a stand for the truth of God's Word. And so believer, is that what you're doing TODAY?

The Scriptures teach us that we're to be IN the world, but not OF the world. You see, we're to have a Heavenly perspective. We're to set our minds on the things of God. Everything we do, here on this earth, should be done with the mindset of how it will affect us ETERNALLY. Christian, keep in mind that this is not our home.

God is holy, righteous and worthy of our praise. He is our Creator. He is the Lord of all. And even though He has the power to DEMAND our worship, He doesn't. It's His heart's desire that we come to Him, willingly. God doesn't want an army of robots that mindlessly follow Him. He wants REAL PEOPLE to obey Him...because they LOVE Him.

Christian, we have been given the message of hope. We have the GOOD NEWS. But what are we to do with it? Well in today's message, we'll be encouraged to take the Gospel and share with others. You see, we have every tool made available to us for ministry. There's no reason WHY we should not be sharing the life-changing message of Jesus with others.

As believers, we know that faith comes by hearing and HEARING... by the Word of God. So with that being said, we understand that without the Scriptures, there can be NO FAITH. When a person SAYS they have faith in God, but deny the truth of His Word, are they really HEARING? This is a question we must ALL ask ourselves.

In today's message, we'll discuss persecution and martyrdom. It's something that all true believers must be aware of. Sure, in America we really don't have a CLUE as to what REAL persecution is. But we must STILL be prepared. Are you ready and willing to take a stand for the truth of God's Word? Even if it requires your life?

It's unbelievable to think how far mankind has fallen. We can look around today and see JUST HOW LOST man really is. We've allowed ourselves to become desensitized. We're living in a way that is NOT pleasing to God. But HOW did this happen? Well, it's because we have rejected the Word of God. We've ignored His commands...His righteous standard for living.
