Look around you. What do you see? Birds? Trees? Mountains? People? These are all God's creation. And while they may be beautiful, amazing and even breath-taking...they're not meant to receive our worship. As believers, we should be able to look at these things...at the works of God's hands...and worship HIM.

When reading the Scriptures, specifically the book of Revelation, it's easy to become confused or even afraid. But that's only if you're looking at it in the flesh. When you study God's Word, through the filter of Jesus our Savior, when you consider His promises to those who love Him...you will see that there's no need to be afraid. And that's because He is with us.

For years, we as a society have been in the process of pushing God out of the picture. He's not in our government, our schools and even most of our homes. We have denied the existence of His Son, and His amazing FREE GIFT of salvation. This is a dangerous place to be in! If we completely deny JESUS, then we have no hope.

Most people today, whether they profess to be a believer or not, have heard of the war of Armageddon. Sadly, it's been reduced to fiction, due to books and movies. But understand this: The war of Armageddon WILL take place. So don't be duped into thinking that this battle...or even the end times are make-believe. Don't be deceived.

In the world of Christianity today, there are many different opinions as to who, what and WHERE Babylon is today. And while it's okay to study this topic, the more IMPORTANT thing to consider is this: Are YOU a part of Babylon? Is your heart set on the things of this world? OR...are you a part of the city which is yet to come...a city whose builder and maker is God?

God is love. He is kind, gentle, and merciful. And it's His will that NONE would perish, but that ALL would turn to Jesus and be saved. Now we must ALSO understand, that God is a RIGHTEOUS god. He is holy and just. He has a righteous standard that we cannot attain in the flesh. And that's why we NEED His Son. That's why we NEED His grace.

Throughout the years, there have been numerous ideas and opinions, as to when and how the last days will be. And while it's easy to gravitate to the teaching of men, we must be careful. Believer, take the time to see what GOD has to say reading the end times. Read His Word and seek revelation from His Spirit. We don't have to rely on other men, to hear from the Lord.

Throughout the Scriptures, we can find numerous prophetic verses in regards to the end times. And while it is VERY important to know what the Bible says regarding the last days, we must be careful to not forget about the here-and-now. Remember Christian, that you have been called to serve God TODAY.

Times are tough in the world today. People are struggling to make ends meet. Good jobs are harder to come by. And it appears that people are becoming more and more desensitized to sin. From all appearances, we could be nearing the last days. Now some people are frightened by the thought of the END of the world, but to those who are born again, we have nothing to fear.

Look all around. Can you see it? Wars and rumors of wars are everywhere. Turn on the television, read the newspaper, or surf the internet. The times we're living in are full of turmoil. But as believers, there's no need to fear. We know that no matter WHAT happens, our Heavenly Father is in control.

In the book of Matthew we read: Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in Heaven. From this passage we learn that we're not to hide our faith. Instead, we're to let our light shine! Christian, this world NEEDS a Savior...and WE have the message of hope!

When we think about the anti-christ, we often think of how he'll deceive the masses. And while that IS true, he's not the ONLY one who brings deceit. Even today there are false teachers...or wolves in sheep's clothing. They teach doctrine that isn't based upon the truth of God's Word! So to steer clear of their deception, we must cling to what we know is right...and that's the Bible.

The Scriptures warn us of the deceitfulness of Satan. We know that He prowls around as a roaring lion...waiting to devour. And while flesh and blood are NOT our enemies, they can be used as tools. So whatever you hear, whatever you see, hold it up against the Word of God. See if it lines up with what HE says. This is the ONLY way... we can avoid deception.

MANY people today who say the love Jesus. But the question is: WHAT Jesus do they REALLY love? You see, there are numerous people today who follow a made-up Jesus, one that doesn't care about sin or the condition of your soul. However the REAL Jesus of the Bible, cares deeply about your soul. So much so, that He bled and died, so that you could receive salvation.

God promises many blessings, to those who have put their faith and trust in Him. He wants to lead us, provide for us and be our loving Heavenly Father. But one of the most anticipated promises...is His return. Now while there may be many differing opinions as to when and how He'll arrive...one thing we know is true...we must be ready.

When Jesus first made His appearance on the earth...when He came as a baby...many did not recognize who He was. And even later on, as He grew into an adult, people didn't realize that He was the Son of God. But how? How could they NOT know? Well, they were looking for THEIR version of a king...for THEIR version of a Messiah. And because of THEIR version...they missed Him.

Believer, we are ALL in the ministry of God. He's given us His Word. He's given us talents, revelation and understanding. He's equipped us to minister to those around us. But are we taking HOLD of these opportunities? Are we listening for HIS leading? Are we WILLING to step out in faith and walk in obedience to HIS Word?

As we continue to look into the story of Esther, we'll be reminded that God has us where we are at...for a reason. So when times are good...or times seem rough...God is with you. And believe this Christian: He has you there for HIS purpose! He wants OTHERS to see His amazing work of grace in your life. And by our obedience to Him, God will be glorified.

The Scriptures teach us that pride comes before destruction...and a haughty spirit...before a fall. As believers, we're not to be proud. We're not to boast in our accomplishments or the works of our hands. We're not to consider ourselves BETTER than others. Christian, we're called to be people...of humility.

Our Heavenly Father is in control. And as His children, we can trust that He will do what's best for us. So even in the midst of a bleak situation, we can KNOW that He has our back. The bottom line, is that we must BELIEVE what His Word says. We must trust that He will work ALL THINGS together for good, for those who love Him and are the called according to HIS purpose.

It's been said before, but it's still very true...that Christians are NOT just saved for their own benefit. They are saved for a purpose. They are SAVED...to serve God and others. As believers, we should stand for the truth, even in the face of adversity. Our faith should be ACTIVE. We're to be workers in the ministry of our Father.

The Scriptures teach us that Satan prowls like a roaring lion, waiting to devour. His plans are always meant for deceit, death and destruction. But our God, can take the plans that were meant for EVIL, and turn them into something good! He can take what was meant to HARM His people and turn it into a blessing.

Do you trust the Lord? Do you believe that He will do...what He SAID He will do? Well in our lesson today, we'll see by Esther's actions, that she DID believe. She had faith that God can and would work through her. How about you, believer? Are YOU willing to be used by God? Are you listening for His voice? Are you waiting for a divine opportunity to step out in obedience?
