God’s will is going to be accomplished in this world. But He won’t force you to comply with it. That’s left up to you. You can either submit to Him and pour yourself into serving Him in whatever way He leads. Or you can resist and be an obstacle to His will and way. As Pastor Terry will point out in today’s message, Paul demonstrated humble faith as he followed God’s call on his life. He made hims...

The way God works is often hard to understand. We can plan for months, maybe even years, to go on a mission trip or to start a new ministry in some form, and then it all falls apart at the last minute. Why would God allow that to happen? It was going to be a good thing. As Pastor Terry will explain in today’s message, in that moment, God sees the big picture, and the place He has for you in that p...

God gave us the Law to prove the sinfulness of humanity. It was never meant to save us. It isn’t capable of that any more than a speed limit sign can force you to drive at a safe, responsible speed. As Pastor Terry will explain in today’s message, we are stuck in our sin when it comes to the Law. It simply shows us how far we fall short. The Good News is that Jesus came and offered Himself up as a...

It’s easy to misinterpret the Old Testament as portraying God as uncaring towards the Gentiles. So much of the focus is on Israel that we think God only loved them and was either indifferent or even hostile towards other nations. That simply wasn’t the case. God had a special purpose for the nation of Israel, and at its heart, He planned to use them to bless the other nations. As Pastor Terry lead...

If you’ve spent enough time following Jesus, you likely can relate to that statement from Pastor Terry. You may look back at the path He’s led you down, and it looks completely different than what you imagined for yourself. But instead of regret or resentment, you can see how perfectly He guided you into a more purposeful, impactful life. When you step into His will faithfully, laying down your pe...

When you submit yourself to God’s will for your life, you need to expect the unexpected. Paul believed his ministry would be most effective if he focused on his fellow Jews. He knew them well. He was one of them and knew the language and the attitudes they had been raised into. But as Pastor Terry continues our study of God’s work in and through Paul’s life, he’ll point out that God had a differen...

In the entertainment industry, there are people known as talent scouts. It’s their job to seek out new and fresh talent. Somewhat like the judges you may have seen on shows like America’s Got Talent. They’re constantly on the lookout for anyone who really shines. In today’s message, Pastor Terry tells you that God has a role for you to play in the Body of Christ. Have you found that role yet? Are...

When we go to work, we’re doing a job for someone else. Sure, we do it for a paycheck, but our goal is to please our employer or clientele. But when we go on vacation or take a day off, we do it to get something out of it for ourselves. We do it to be refreshed. In his message today, Pastor Terry points out that even though you may need the Lord to touch your life, you’re still called to minister...

Not all, but many recording and performing music artists have little to no substance. Without the music production tools like reverb effects and pitch-correction, their music and talents would fall flat. But truly great artists will still shine without any of the fluff. Today, Pastor Terry tells you that when you strip away all the cultural associations of Christianity, you should find Christ at t...

Life is busy. We’re constantly on the go. Work. School. Church. Errands. Entertainment. Weekend excursions. Home improvement projects. No wonder they say that time is a vacuum… Somehow the calendar always seems to fill itself up. In Pastor Terry’s message today, he shares with you about how important it was for the apostle Paul to get away from it all after his conversion. He needed that time to d...

There is a mutual understanding amongst believers and nonbelievers: this world is evil, and it’s only getting worse. But in a world that can admit that there is a measure of evil, we have to understand that by that standard, there must also be a measure of good. Who is that good? Today, Pastor Terry expresses just how real Jesus is. That He uses the Holy Spirit to convict people and chase them dow...

There is nobody too far gone that Jesus can’t save. It doesn’t matter what you’ve done in the past or who you were. What matters is what you do with Jesus after you’ve accepted Him into your heart. It’s who you can become and how He can change your life that matters. Today, Pastor Terry uses Saul and the unimaginable acts of sin he committed in his life- before a radical encounter with Jesus to sh...

Have you ever looked at a person in admiration at the things that they are capable of? Not in a way of jealousy or comparison, but with a sense of “wow…they’re so talented”. And then, in a moment, you think to yourself how wonderful it would be if they used their talents and skills in a way that honored God. Today, Pastor Terry teaches us that God can prepare the lives of people who don’t yet know...

No amount of education, wealth, popularity, fame, or power will make you feel whole. You can have so much going for you in terms of financial future, status, and position, and yet still feel empty, always wanting and trying to obtain more. Where does it end? When will what you have be enough for you? In today’s teaching, Pastor Terry uses Saul of Tarsus and his highly respected life successes as a...

Following Jesus and choosing to live a Christian life is not easy. He challenges you every day to die to yourself, to forget the life you once knew, and to walk in a way that is righteous by Him. Your life becomes filled with conviction that pushes you to submission, admitting that you are a sinner who needs a saviour. In a world that preaches pride and self-sufficiency, this is not easy! Today, P...

To fear the Lord is not to be afraid of him. It’s not to turn and run away or to cower from Him. The idea of fearing the Lord is to honor Him and hold Him in the highest esteem. God is our authority, and we should honor and respect Him because of it. We should live our lives knowing that Christ is with us, and we should want to please Him in everything that we do. Today, Pastor Terry teaches us ho...

Make it a normal habit in your life to ask the Holy Spirit to fill you daily. We should be seeking God daily, allowing Him to guide us day by day, being filled with the Holy Spirit, and asking Him to empower and use us. When you fail to seek the Lord’s strength in your good days the same as you do in your bad days, you rob yourself of the real joy that comes from knowing the mercy and love of Jesu...

Dying to our flesh and allowing Jesus to change our lives is our Exodus. When we accepted Jesus as our Lord and Saviour, we were freed from the bondage of the world. Now, in a living fellowship with the Lord, we are sustained through life’s trials as we rely daily on God and learn to trust in His promises. We journey through life guided by the Holy Spirit, awaiting our eternal rest. Today, Pastor...

This world has a way of fooling us into slowly falling into the sinful habits of our past, and it will swallow us up in a heartbeat if we give it too much of ourselves. The calling on our lives to go out and be the salt and light of this world is very important, but we must be careful not to allow the very people whom we are trying to shine the light of Christ on to influence who we are. Today, Pa...

Our spiritual growth is a never ending prosses. It’s a process of sanctification that only Jesus can work in and through us. There will never come a time when we won’t need to lean on our Savior in full dependence on what He has for us. The battle between our flesh and the righteousness of God will never cease to exist as long as we are living in this fallen world. Today, Pastor Terry teaches the...

Ignoring hard conversations and sweeping hurt under the rug won’t make it go away. It’s natural to enter into seasons of hardship, especially with those we care about. It’s what we do with that hardship that sets us apart. As Christians, we’re called to a higher way of being. We’re called to bring peace, love, and healing to those around us; To be the light of Christ. Today, Pastor Terry teaches u...

I think we’ve all been there: a fight with a friend, the silent treatment toward our spouse. Something was said that we took out of context; maybe we let our feelings about the situation get in the way of understanding what was truly happening or being said. But more often than not, it’s our pride alone that leads us into misunderstandings. Today, Pastor Terry teaches us how a lack of clear commun...

Pray like it depends on Jesus, and work as if it depends on you. Jesus has blazed a trail, making a way for us to experience all the good that God has for us. Simply claiming to be a Christian and actually having a relationship with Jesus are two different things. Without a relationship, there is nothing; it’s a partnership that takes two. Today, Pastor Terry teaches us how delighted God is when w...

As soon as we accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior, we are given the opportunity at “Promise Land living”. When we surrender our lives to Jesus and become fully alive disciples in Him, all the promises that God has made to us can be ours. Today, Pastor Terry teaches us that the Lord wants our lives to be full of happiness, victory, and fruitfulness while still here on earth. Don’t forfeit the good...

This world can swallow us up in an instant. The fleshly urge to want to fit in with those around us can change our lives, leaving us spiritually lost and misguided. The things we once did for good now become prideful acts of selfishness to get ahead and be recognized. Today, Pastor Terry teaches us the importance of sticking to the priorities that God has called us to, regardless of what’s happeni...
