Spoil Me

Hey! I'm so excited to post another episode of High Wizardry, so huge thank-you to Devin for commissioning this episode! I'm totally freaked out about what is going on with Dairine, I'm not gonna lie. This girl is way too adventurous and she needs to chill out or she's going to give me a heart attack. Dairine decides that she's just going to fly around from planet to planet and try to do her best...

Hey there, folks! Sorry it's taken me so long to get these upcoming episodes posted, but I fell so damn far behind last week and I'm just scrambling to catch up. Thank you so much to Melanie for commissioning these episodes! The two episodes I'm covering here are Fight Fighters and Little Dipper, and both deal with Dipper trying to get some leverage and respect from people he thinks don't see him...

Thank you to Abbey for commissioning this episode! I'm so glad that there's more of this book already commissioned because I'm dying to figure out what's going on. I kind of squeezed in everything that happened to Lirael into the end of the episode because I spend so much time on Sameth and his friend Nick who winds up getting nailed with the creepy metal shard gadget that was intended for Sameth....

Thank you so much to Jocke for commissioning not only an episode of coverage but also a voyeur episode so that everyone could hang out with me on Facebook Live and watch me watching the show. Because we've reached peak meta. :D This episode was a helluva first, and I'm really impressed at how much they were able to pull me in with just one episode full of completely new characters. I'm really inte...

Thank you so much to Patricia for commissioning this next episode of this wonderful book. This section, it turns out that the Chrestomanci's people have found out that Tacroy (aka Mordecai) was one of the Wraiths, and they are questioning him very closely but he manages to really cover for Christopher and nobody suspects his involvement at all. This is curious since Chrestomanci knows that Christo...

Thank you to Melanie for this commission! This episode, I spend a little time talking about changing my approach to reading these books. Based on a conversation I had with Melanie after the previous episode, I've decided to sort of step back and stop worrying too much about the details in favor of just letting the overall story wash over me. I think that worked well this time around! The bulk of t...

Thank you to Abbey for commissioning this episode of Lirael! I'm really excited because there's a new character being introduced to the story and I'm here for it! First off, though, there's something that Lirael needs to deal with. And it's got hooks for hands. Oh, and also there's a mysterious dog here who is just not being honest about what's going on and I am major suspicious about what the hel...

Thank you so much to Melanie for commissioning the next 2 episodes of Gravity Falls! These episodes we get two great stories, which both are even more high-adventure than usual because both our lovely twins are involved in each one. Previously, they've been a little bit split up and doing their own things or overcoming their own obstacles separately. But this time, our dynamic duo the Mystery Twin...

Thank you to Patricia for commissioning this episode, and getting me into a nice rhythm with this show again! This episode, we've got several things going on, and they're all a bit of a bummer. Veronica is busy trying to find out who is blackmailing all the gay students at her school, and it seems like they're being bullied as well. Then there's Keith's case with Terrence, and it seems like things...

Thank you to Rachel for commissioning "Dipper VS Manliness" and "Double Dipper" this week! I'm super excited that I get to watch two of these per episode (at least for now) and these are maybe my favorites so far. The first one concerns Dipper and his masculinity, and it's low-key adorable while also super frustrating because masculinity is the most fickle thing. It's wonderful how the episode jux...

Thank you to Patricia for continuing to commission this book! I'm stoked that this series of chapters is all focused on Christopher's magical education, because I'm very eager for him to finally prove himself. Christopher is not happy living at Chrestomanci castle. He's the only young person there, nobody really cares about talking to him or entertaining him, the magic built into the place is oppr...

Thank you to Abbey for commissioning this episode! This section of Lirael is super interesting because she gets approval to work at the Library, which turns out to be just as dangerous as the Clayr have warned her. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem like Lirael was prepared to take that as seriously as she should have, and now something has gotten out. I'm loving the usage of magic in this book, and t...

Huge thank-you to Patricia for commissioning this episode! I'm so loving this book! We're really cooking with gas in these chapters, which focus on Christopher finally getting to the root of his issue with magic not working and managing to pull off some serious spellwork on his first try. He's so unprepared for how strongly his magic will respond that when he's asked to levitate a book, he manages...

Thank you so much to Shaun for purchasing another episode of Rome! I'm really looking forward to watching more, as I'm super interested in the politics of everything. This episode, I get what I thought I wanted with Lucius's reunion with his wife Niobe. However, there's been quite a bit going on since he went off to war, and although Niobe manages to convince him that the baby she's toting around...

Thank you to Michael for commissioning this episode! I'm so glad I'm getting to watch more of this wild show! This episode we get to see the team take on the mission that they were apparently send to this past for, and it brings up all kinds of questions. Now that our crew is done with the mission (or so they think anyway), can they ever go back? If they did, what happens? Does the body they're in...

This episode was commissioned by someone who is no longer with us. Jason Brough, who purchased this episode and several others, passed away unexpectedly last week due to an ongoing health issue. It was actually the same day as this recording, which he attended in the morning. I'm so sorry to say goodbye to someone who had become such a huge part of the UNspoiled! community in such a short space of...

Thank you to Ashleigh for commissioning this episode! I'm glad to be getting into this book a little deeper, because I am very curious about where it's going and have no real idea. These chapters, we get more of a look at Tessia and her training, which proves her to be really powerful and in better control than Jayan was within the same amount of time. So he's a little salty, and I'm over here wai...

Thank you so much to Shaun for getting us started on this new series, which is something that a lot of people have recommended! I'm totally shocked that I watched this episode once already, because I didn't even remember a thing. And this makes even less sense considering that it's a really good episode of television and has a super compelling setup. I'm impressed with this show's ability to depic...

Huge thanks to Abbey for once again coming through and pre-ordering a whole book! Woohoo! This is the start of a new story set in the same world as Sabriel, and it follows nearly 15 years after the events of the previous book. There's a lot of mystery surrounding just who Lirael is, and I'm of course low-key wanting her to be related to Sabriel in some way. Meanwhile, there's some new torment on t...

Thank you so much to Jacqui for this commission! So this episode was...well, it was what it was. It's unfortunate that a show which had handled an issue of transgender people so well in the beginning of the first season had to backslide like this, and I kind of talk about that for a minute. Because this wasn't great. Otherwise, I'm really interested in how the PCHers are going to respond to Weevil...

I can't thank Jill enough for commissioning this bonkers show. I'm enjoying it so much, and it's killing me to know how long it's going to be until I can talk about the next episode. This episode, we start off with everyone freaking out about the newest missing boy, and I'm over here yelling at them for just letting their kids run around. I have no idea what to think about Peter, Charlotte's husba...

Huge thank-you to Devin for commissioning this episode of Gravity Falls, and for allowing me to watch 2 in a row. :D I'm super into this show, and I'm not afraid to show it. These episodes are about Mabel and Dipper's love lives, respectively. Mabel, as usual, has a lot more going on in that area than Dipper, but she's not always happy about it. Gideon is a pure nightmare. And then there's Wendy,...

Thank you very much to Jill for commissioning this episode, so that I was able to finish recording the previous and have a reason to watch the next one immediately. I am simply dying to know what the fuck is going on. I started to make some connections in this one, but I'm still not sure if they're all right, and there are other things that I've made no connection on at all. The only thing I still...

Thank you to Melanie for commissioning the next chapter of The Time Of Contempt! This episode is probably the most confused I've been while reading any of the Witcher books, and I try so hard to puzzle it out while I record, but I don't think I'm very successful. Poor Melanie messaged me after this episode wrapped, worried about whether I wanted to continue, but I felt better after she informed me...

Thank you so much to Nancy for commissioning this episode! I'm delighted to be getting back to Veronica Mars after a bit of a gap, and there's another episode coming next week too! This episode is all about Wallace coping with the decision he made to come forward to the reporter who asked him about the hit-and-run he was involved with in Chicago. Wallace deeply overestimates Rashard's integrity, a...
