Creative excuses... 01.04.2026

Excuses are easy. Solutions take time and energy. You can seek pity and sympathy, or you can find a way to overcome. It's still a choice, either way.

Medicine of discipline... 31.03.2026

Lock in and get it done. It'll change your life.

Feelings aren't facts! 30.03.2026

Oh boy. And we wonder why you see so many people constantly breaking down? Maybe we need to stop teaching everyone their feelings are always accurate. They aren't. Sure, they are real. That doesn't make them true. We have poor reactions to a lot of things. We need to learn to understand our feelings and when to allow the wrong ones to cycle through to get to a more accurate stance. That's how we b...

Keep moving forward 29.03.2026

You could argue that I need to plan better, and you'd be right. But I'm also very confident in my ability to work through problems calmly and find a way forward. Today was 4x4x8 lumber in a Camry 🤷‍♂️😂. But the same method can be used for all your life's situations.

Did you mean to agree? 28.03.2026

Know what you know and don't bend just to keep the peace. It's not incumbent on you to make others comfortable with the truth. That doesn't mean you are always right and they are always wrong. Just be sure that you know what you are agreeing to or with and know it's for the right reasons if you do.

Offend and inspire... 27.03.2026

Spreading truth and living in reality will hurt the feelings of those that want to live in a dream world. They aren't the ones you're going to change. There's plenty of people looking to find truth and grow. Speak to them and inspire them to learn, grow, and develop.

Rep it out! 26.03.2026

It's funny how quickly something can become second nature. It just takes reps. Find a way to be interested in whatever that thing is you want to get good at. Watch some instructions or find someone to teach you. Then do reps, get feedback to improve, so more reps, get more feedback, rinse, and repeat.

Who cares more? 25.03.2026

Don't get your feelings hurt in this one. Just because you don't like being pushed, doesn't make that person the mean one that doesn't care. It's usually the opposite. They care way more than you and believe in you more than you believe in yourself.

Defeat not unwelcome? 24.03.2026

This one was surprising to me at first, then it made sense. Most are taught to give up unknowingly. When something is too difficult early on, most just build the excuse factory and give up without a fight.

Small changes, big results! 23.03.2026

Small changes lead to some of the biggest swings in momentum and results. The thing is, though, you have to be willing to be wrong and allow for correction. Then start making small adjustments.

Whiny bitch voice... 22.03.2026

It's way easier to talk yourself out of doing something difficult than it is to talk yourself into doing that same thing. But it's not about being perfect in thought. It's about catching the slipping thought patterns and reversing them quickly. Presents over perfection.

Humble or blind? 21.03.2026

It's a good thing to be able to accept that you're capable of doing something worth acknowledging. That doesn't make you arrogant or less humble. It's could even be seen as disrespectful to both yourself and the person who took the time to give you a compliment. A change in perspective could put you on a path that will grow your mind on a better way.

Sauna for the win! 20.03.2026

It's an incredible mental battle while you're in the sauna, but the results in the long run are way more valuable than the temporary discomfort. One day in the sauna after the sickness set in and I'm feeling like a different person already. Day two in the books now and looking forward to feeling even better tomorrow!

Head cold and training 19.03.2026

I really wanted to roll tonight, but that would be disrespectful to the person I would have paired with along with the coach. Oh well, I got a good home setup to get some work in still and work the recovery so I can roll Monday!

Training fatigued... 18.03.2026

If you only train in optimal optimal conditions, you'll struggle when you need it the most and aren't in top form. Train in the conditions you are when you're scheduled. Modify if needed to ensure safety, but get the reps in and build that character!

Bad beginnings... 17.03.2026

Bad beginnings don't always lead to bad endings. And the ones that do, teach you just as much anyway. There important part is beginning in the first place. You can't fail if you don't start, but you also can't succeed.

Struggle and strength... 16.03.2026

Struggle builds strength that comfort never will. Stress and adversity are required for growth. When you let others do things for you that you're capable of doing, you risk falling behind. When you allow others to dictate your limits, you risk never achieving what you know deep down you're capable of.

Others will bash you enough... 15.03.2026

Why do you need to put yourself down when so many others are just waiting to do it for you? Be your own advocate. That doesn't mean to be blind and pretend you're perfect. That just means you don't need to talk down to yourself to make those changes.

Offended by truth? 14.03.2026

Those who are weak of mind can't handle hearing the truth. Those who are strong of mind won't deal with hearing your lies.

Start small and progress 13.03.2026

I'm not perfect. I have worked to build means and methods to catch my slips and get back on track, though. And I'm not concerned with starting small and building. That's how you progress without stopping. You make it next to impossible to skip, then it becomes a habit you build upon. Only people who aren't willing to try will put you down. And God will always root for you. That's all that matters....

Frustrated to fascinated 12.03.2026

We all get a little frustrated at times. The question is, how quickly can you turn it around and get fascinated instead? That's where the growth happens.

Justice is violent... 11.03.2026

You know, it's funny how people who tend to be incapable of physical violence live to use emotional and mental violence to try and take others down. Too bad I work on my mental and spiritual strength as much as my physical strength. You keep believing your lies. I can accept my actions when they are wrong and still be fine. Can you say the same?

No common sense? 10.03.2026

So now psychology wants us to believe not planning everything out means you have no common sense. Yeah, that's not a thing. People make a big deal out of little things constantly, and the best ideas and outcomes often come out act first, plan second. How many opportunities have you missed out on because you couldn't plan quick enough?

Not all valid... 09.03.2026

I'm going to keep saying this. Not all thoughts, feelings, and emotions are valid. That word has a meaning, and that meaning would state that you are telling tasty person every thought, feeling, and emotion they have is accurate and true. How disgusting do you have to be to believe this to be true? Nobody is perfect. So none of those things will be 100% accurate. Real to you in the moment doesn't...

Just a moment... 08.03.2026

It's easy to feel stuck in a moment of time. But good, bad, or indifferent, it's still only a moment. There will be more of all of those, so accept it for what it is, and move to the next moment.
