Northland Outdoors

Most of the Northland will look to start the weekend on a mild note, with a few showers still exiting the North Shore Friday evening. By Saturday though, rain pushes out entirely into Wisconsin, while the rest of the region looks to stay dry, aside from a chance of a few isolates showers across western North Dakota.

As the previous system continues to push off to the east, we look largely dry under high pressure across most of the region on Saturday. Skies look to be partly to mostly sunny as well, with sunshine more likely the further north you are. Highs reach the 70s across the Northland. Sunday looks pleasant as well with some precipation chances across South Dakota.

A break from the heat is on the horizon, but we have to get through the weekend first. Saturday brings one more really hot day for most of the region, especially out west. Saturday afternoon brings some thunder shower chances for eastern North and South Dakota, as well as west central Minnesota. Sunday starts our cool down trend.  

After a couple of drier days through the middle of the week, the south breeze that brought in warm weather is also looking to supply moisture for a few scattered thundershowers starting Friday night. By Saturday, for much of the day the showers will stay rather scattered throughout the region and Sunday much the same.

This weekend brings back some of the heat we saw a week ago, along with scattered rain chances. Saturday looks to bring scattered showers and thundershowers mostly through the Dakotas and northern Minnesota. It won't be a widespread rain event, but some areas could hear some rumbles of thunder.  

We are looking at our first heat wave of the summer this weekend. Temperatures and humidity have been increasing throughout the week, and will get even higher these next couple of days.

After tracking showers for the 4th for many, Friday looks to be the driest day across this holiday weekend, and even then, the chance for a few scattered showers will linger on. The best chance for showers looks to be across the western Dakotas, however portions of the North Shore could also see sprinkles.

Most of the Northland looks to finish up the week with scattered showers moving on through Friday evening. Showers then clear out of the Dakotas by Saturday morning. However, portions of northern Minnesota and Wisconsin could see rain well into the day on Saturday.

The first half of the weekend looks to continue the unsettled pattern of rain showers in our region. Saturday's best rain chances look to settle over central and southern Minnesota then into Wisconsin by the afternoon. South Dakota will be spared from most of the rain chances but a few thundershowers are possible in North Dakota.

The frequent shower and storm chances we have seen so far throughout June look to continue this weekend. Friday night into Saturday morning will bring chances of rain into the Red River Valley region, and south along I-29 into South Dakota. As we head into Sunday, the shower and thundershower chances look to continue another day.

This weekend looks to bring generally dry conditions to our region, along with some cooler weather by Sunday. Saturday looks to bring generally mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies for our region. There is a chance of some light showers and thunder showers in northern Minnesota but no big rain makers that we have been seeing a lot in the past few weeks.

Most of the Northland looks to finish up the week on a dry, with a few scattered showers lingering by Friday evening. Showers then clear out through the night Friday, and we stay much drier for the start of the weekend. As the holiday weekend begins, there's a chance of scattered rain throughout the region. Winds will diminish after Friday with temperatures in the 60s and 70s while slightly cooler temps can be expected on Memorial Day.

We are looking at the wind making a return after what was a fairly wet week for our region. Storms from Friday night will move out of the Red River Valley area as we head into Saturday morning. These storms move with a cold front that brings strong west winds behind it for Saturday afternoon.

We are looking at a great weekend for the upcoming fishing opener in Minnesota. The wind from Friday will die down and be much lighter as we head into the night. Waking up early Saturday morning the winds will be light, and lows will be in the 40s and 50s throughout the region.

As we go into the first weekend of May, we see a return fo the warm spring temperatures by Sunday. The last of the late week rain showers move out Friday night and early Saturday morning. Any remianing showers in eastern Minnesota and sprinkles in the Red River Valley will clear out by the afternoon.  

This weekend will bring a nice rain for the entire region. The rain starts off Friday and continues into the weekend. Saturday will have rain showers and even a rumble of thunder possible throughout the day. Winds will also get breezy at times thanks to the low pressure system moving through the region.  

This weekend brings back the sunshine for a majority of the region, and temperatures will warm up in response. Friday evening will still be cloudy with areas in northern Minnesota and the Red River Valley seeing occasional snow flurries. These clear on out as we head into a sunny Saturday afternoon. Sunday will also see a big jump in temperatures with 50s and 60s making a return.
