Jesus would suffer betrayal from one of his own. His reaction, as always is prayer. Today we will see how Jesus goes to the Father in prayer when his needs arise.

On Jesus' last Wednesday, he will experience the greatest act (the anointing of the woman) and the worst act (the betrayal of Judas). We will see that we have the same choices before us. Do we worship Jesus with all that we are? Or, will we betray him because of our selfish ambitions?

Jesus comes upon a fig tree and is disappointed when he find that there is not fruit. He curses the tree and it withers. Christians, just like that fig tree should be producing "fruit" (Love, Joy Peace...). When we have Christ living in us we will produce fruit!

Jesus, after his triumphal entry goes to the temple only to see it acting as a market place for greedy entrepreneurs. His reaction is violent as he turns over the money tables and chases out the shop keepers. He shows us something about what worship is and what worship is not!

On Sunday, Palm Sunday, Jesus entered into Jerusalem. The Cross was planned! It wasn't something that happened to Jesus, it was planned from the beginning. Jesus anticipate the cross as he heads to his destiny, the cross.

Jesus heals the 10 lepers and only one comes back to thank him. Remember to be thankful for all that Jesus has done for us.

Traditions can be great, traditions can be dangerous. This week we will talk about what happens when a tradition gets in the way of what God really wants.

Mark records an event that is truly incredible.. Jesus walks on water! In the midst of this account we find out that even though they witness this miracle, the disciples still don't understand Jesus, they still suffer from hard hearts.

Jesus does an incredible miracle that isn't just for the folks he is blessing. Sometimes his miracles will bless those who serve alongside him

As Christ followers, we have a responsibility to do some hard things. One of them involves suffering, the other involves pressure we feel to please others. Listen as we talk about how NOT to act in the face of negative peer pressure.

Jesus gives authority to his 12 Disciples and sends them out with that authority to preach, to heal and to cast out demons. Listen as we try to understand what it means to be sent out and live in the Holy Spirit.

We all anticipate many things. For God's people, they anticipated the Savior, the Messiah, who was promised to come. Prior to the Messiah would be the forerunner, the one who would "make straight his paths"; John the Baptist who would announce the coming of the Savior. Today, we anticipate his return!

Jesus returns to his home town of Nazareth only to experience rejection. Maybe he was just too familiar with the people that he grew up with. If we aren't careful, we can be so comfortable with Jesus that we forget who he really is, the Son of God!

Jesus is the authority over Sickness and Death. We pick up with Jesus taking time (even though there is a huge crowd following him to take care of a man's little girl who is dying. During this walk a woman who had been sick for 12 years is healed by her faith! The delay cost the little girl her life but Jesus will do even more than the father asks, he brings her back to life!

Jesus shows his disciples that he holds authority over Nature, The Spirit Realm and even over Sickness and Death. We can be comforted knowing that Christ has power and dominion over even the demons!

Jesus, as he gains popularity takes 12 men alongside of him and empowers them to be his Apostles. They will have the responsibility to preach and to teach, to heal and to cast out demons. Jesus calls us as well, he calls us to be his disciples and to make disciples for him.

Jesus begins something new as he talks about how there are new things coming. This week we get to know a little something about GRACE!

As Jesus teaches in Capernaum he walks by a tax booth and calls Levi (Matthew) to come and follow him. He does. Jesus makes that call to all of his children and our job is to make a clean break with our lives and to give ourselves to Jesus.
