Sometimes we get confused thinking that we have to go somewhere to experience God. The truth is that when we are following Jesus, God is closer than we think. He resides in us through his Holy Spirit. Listen as we talk about the Temple of God.

This week we will conclude our series on the book of Job. In chapter 40-41 God continues to speak up for himself and his amazing creation. Job will repent, he will be redeemed, and finally restored before all those who abandoned him. This week please read   Job 40-42

God is Sovereign over all. He is the creator of all and gets to have his say over it. How does God's Sovereignty affect you? Listen as we continue in the book of Job

We have to be thankful for a book like Job, especially when we feel some of the same things he felt. Pain, Suffering and Loneliness. This week we will see how Job's friends attempt to help him, but are limited by their own understanding of God. We will be moving quickly through the book but you could get the idea of where we are going by reading Job 3 and you can skim through chapter 37

Each person has their "button", their "last straw". This week we will see Satan's. relentless attack on Job as he will attack him physically. Not only that, but we will also see those closest to Job questioning his character. Again, where is God when we are touched by adversity and pain?

What is the reason for suffering? And why does God allow suffering? Today we begin a new sermon series on the book of Job.

Do you have fear? You don't need fear when you have Jesus!

Jesus will use any opportunity to teach. Even when he sees a little old lady putting her offering in the box, Jesus will use the opportunity to point out the difference between the sacrifice of a humble heart and the gift that doesn't cost anything. Please read  Mark 12:38-44

You can sum up the Christian life with 2 commandments: Love God, Love People. This week we will see Jesus answer the question of the greatest of all the commandments. 

Being a Christian guarantees us an eternal home in Heaven with God. But what will our earthly relationships look like in Heaven? This week we will hear what Jesus says about Heaven and our spouses, and those who have gone on before. Please read Mark 12:18-25

What does Jesus mean when he says, "give to Caesar what is Caesars and to God what is God's? Today we will look at what it means to be made in the image of God.

God is our refuge and our strength!

When Jesus taught, it was often in parables, so that those who want to be his disciples will seek to understand, bringing them closer to Christ; and everyone else, who would see them as obscure. This week we will talk about the Parable of The Tenants.

The account of blind Bartimaeus paints a picture of desperation, faith and healing. Without Jesus we are spiritually blind. We can learn much from this blind man about who to go to for wholeness. Please read  Mark 10: 46-52

As Jesus approaches his final days in Jerusalem, he hears a request from two of his followers, James and John. They wanted a prominent place in Jesus' Kingdom. Our understanding of what prominence looks like is different from that of the world. Jesus teaches servant leadership.

There is nothing that can fulfill us except for Jesus. Today we will look at the account of the rich young man who looks to Jesus for eternal life, but is unwilling to let go of the things he loves in the world

Divorce was never part of God's plan. How should Christ followers look at divorce.

Sometimes we have a "us and them" attitude. We like being around people like us. But when we are fully devoted followers of Jesus, there is no "us and them". Listen as Jesus teaches his disciples about the attitude they should have with other Christ followers.

Who is the greatest? It is a question many people struggle with as they try to work out their ambitions so that they can be the greatest. The problem is that no one can be the greatest except for Jesus Christ!

Stand Alone Sermon from Jim McCloskey on the life of Joseph.

Jesus heals a boy of a demon after the disciples were unable to. The inability for the disciples to cast it out helped them to remember that they must depend on faith in Jesus to do His work in the world.

Jesus asks his disciples the most important question that will ever be asked to any of us; Who Do You Say I am?

When we are confident in Jesus, when we have faith in who he is, we will be confident in what we ask of him according to His will. Listen as we hear about a woman with great faith!

Jesus reminds his listeners that it isn't what goes into a person that makes them "defiled", but what comes out of them.
