When a paralyzed man. is brought to Jesus everyone thinks they know what he needs. But Jesus knows better. Jesus focuses on the man's real problem, the problem of sin.

Jesus' ministry is beginning in Capernaum and he starts it with a bang. Many people are healed from demons and from sickness. What will Jesus do next? Logical thinking will say that he will start some kind of ministry center. But Jesus does the unexpected. He leaves to go and preach in the next towns. Today we will be talking about the surprise purpose of Christ.

Mark continues his description of Jesus and the start of his ministry. Mark is highlighting Jesus' authority. This week, we will talk about Jesus' authority over sickness through the healing of Peter's mother in law.

As Jesus begins his ministry he establishes his authority, not only by teaching but by proving his power over the demonic realm. That same authority Jesus possesses exists today. Listen as we talk about Jesus' power!

Mark's Gospel is very quick paced. He describes the Good News of Jesus very quickly from one event to another. Paul calls himself and Ambassador for Christ. He also calls all Christians that title. What does that mean for you and for me? What does it mean to be an Ambassador for Christ?

As part of our Armor of God, we have some offensive weapons. One such weapon is prayer. Prayer is a very powerful tool God grants us to use so that we can be position ourselves under His power.

The War has been won! God wins! But in the meantime, those of us who follow him are still part of the fighting. God has given us everything we need to resist the devil and his schemes. Listen as we talk about the armor that God gives his children.

Christians have an enemy. His name is Satan and his whole existence is pointed at destroying the things of God. This week we will talk about his influence and how we need to guard ourselves against this defeated, yet formidable enemy.

The Christian faith is full of submission. In every relationship, especially between the husband and wife. We will unpack some of this mystery of submission to one another.

Paul writes to this church to "be filled with the Spirit". Today we will talk about what it means to walk with the spirit, to be filled with the Spirit.

Imitating God means that the way we carry ourselves should reflect God and His holiness. His separateness. For the people in Paul's day, sexual immorality was rampant and not even considered to be wrong. Listen as Paul communicates how to imitate God in the way we handle our sexuality.

How does one begin to imitate God? Paul commands us to do this seemingly impossible task. How do we imitate God?

Because Christians have "put on Christ" they need to show what it looks like to the world around them; in the way they treat one another and in the way they get their possessions. When we live for Christ correctly we are in step with the HS and are able to put away anger and we can be kind to one another. After all, we didn't deserve to be forgiven yet Christ forgave us.

Our world is surrounded by influencers. Are we influenced by the right things? This week we will explore God's desire for us to put off our old self and to put on Christ!

God's desire is for his children to grow in maturity while living in love and unity. Jesus gives his children all they need to fulfill that plan. What are your gifts and how can you use them to fulfill God's plan for your life?

There are many proofs that Jesus came back from the dead in Scripture. We celebrate Easter talking about some of the ways we can know that Jesus rose from the dead!

As Jesus entered into Jerusalem and his Triumphal Entry, he encountered the Pharisees who were threatened by His message of love and forgiveness and especially His power. Listen as we talk about how far off the Pharisees were from recognizing the Savior, The Messiah.

When we finally understand who we are in Christ, we can then begin to walk out who we are. Paul writes to Christians that we are to be humble, gentle and to work hard to get along, even when it is difficult.

Paul spends the first three chapters of Ephesians instructing Christians about who they are in Christ before they do any Christian stuff. We need to understand our identity in Christ so that our works come as a result of our relationship with Jesus

When Jesus did His work on the cross he defeated sin and he also defeated the separation that existed God and us and us with each other. This week we will talk about the walls that have been broken down to make us "a new person".

Being born in this world as a human being means that we were born to die. We have no hope in ourselves. We are the objects of God's Wrath! The only hope we have is in the work of God through Jesus to save us even though we do not deserve it. There is nothing in our power to get us to God.
