I went to Tokyo to watch the World Championships Marathons (and some track and field). AMA(yes, it was hot)

I ran the Sydney Marathon 2025. AMA. Also, I unbox a package to prepare for my next international trip.

I tried to bring the new dog to the livestream. It went reasonably well for a dog that is very energetic and squirmy. We talk a lot about Megabalst and Sonicblast, and I tried on some new sunglasses

summer is wrapping up in the suburbs, but there's still so much summer heat left. also, we unbox some apparel from Korsa and shoes from On and Adidas.

it's a heat wave in the midwest. that can only mean one thing. corn sweat. plus, some unboxings

Trying to get over my aversion to racing by racing

I think I'm developing a phobia of 5ks, so I tried to hop in a local 5k when I was at my in-laws in Iowa. It didn't quite work out. also, apologies for the audio issues at the beginning. I fix it after a short while

got some new electrolyte produts to try. some are of the Eat Me variety. Others as Drink Me. but by the end, I get pretty wired

You've seen those cooling headbands at the Olympics and in Triathlon. Omius gave me a set of the cooling headband things, and it was very different than what I was expecting - on a lot of levels.

I'm struggling with the heat. Also, some unboxings today from Mizuno and Reebok

I visited Brooks HQ and held Des Linden's Boston Marathon winning shoe (I probably was not supposed to do that) Also, a rant about sport journalism and Grand Slam Track

ran the first to fast 5k, but the race seemed a bit short. we take to strava to look into it further
