2 Kings 13-14, Proverbs 16, Galatians 5 Proverbs 16 is rich rich rich with words to live by. Galatians 5 is so beautiful as Paul talks about freedom!! 2 Kings 13-14 will make your head spin with all the names and ancestors but it is the story of your history. 2 Kings 11-12, Proverbs 15, Galatians 4 Proverbs 15 reminds us to seek wise counsel and how God sees our hearts. Galatians 4, Paul is desperate to convince the people that they really are sons and daughters or God. 2 kings 11-12 has more and more killings and war, but it is worth reading because it prepares your heart with wisdom.

2 Kings 9-10, Proverbs 14, Galatians 3 As always I read the full Proverb passage in the podcast episode because it is impossible to summarize Proverbs. So enjoy your daily dose of Proverbs! Galatians 3 Paul teaches how to have a relationship with God as children of God. 2 Kings 9-10 is full of more dark stories of ancient kings but it is important to read because it allows you to grow in wisdom.

2 Kings 7-8, Proverbs 13, Galatians 2 We read the Bible for sustenance. Sometimes the days reading seems dark or uneventful but it always has a place in feeding your soul. Proverbs 13 is of course full of wisdom and clarity. To me, Galatians 2 seemed little uneventful but certainly had a clear message. 2 Kings 7-8 was dark but these stories prepare the mind and soul for wisdom.

2 Kings 5-6, Proverbs 12, Galatians 1 Proverbs 12 is full of wisdom to distinguish foolishness from prudence. How do you know when you are being unwise read Proverbs 12. In the book Galatians Paul is going to get back to basics so people understand the gospel. 2 kings 5-6 we see all the amazing ways God works through Elisha.

2 Kings 3-4, Proverbs 11, 2 Corinthians 13 Soloman is determined to drive in the importance of wisdom. Check out Proverbs 11. 2 Corinthians 13 Last chapter of Paul’s second letter to the people of Corinth. Such a beautiful farewell. 2 kings 3-4 shows the life of Elisha. One of my favorite stories is in this chapter.

2 Kings 1-2, Proverbs 10, 2 Corinthians 12 Proverbs 10 is a poetic passage overflowing with insight and wisdom for daily living. Paul talks about heaven and his love for the people in 2 Corinthians 12. 2 kings 1-2 is the end of Elijah’s life and he is taken to heaven

1 Kings 21-22, Proverbs 9, 2 Corinthians 11 Wisdom! Wisdom! Proverbs 9 is all about wisdoms in a whole different angle. 1 kings 21-22 king Ahab dies and we see God through the prophets. Corinthians 11 Paul explains how to discern false prophets.

1 Kings 19-20, Proverbs 8, 2 Corinthians 10 Proverbs 8 is a MUST read. It is a beautiful personification of wisdom. In 2 Corinthians Paul explains how are war is spiritual and all boosting should be in the Lord. 1 kings 19-20 is about war. Even in stories of war we get to know the character of God.

1 Kings 17-18, Proverbs 7, 2 Corinthians 9 So much to unpack in this podcast episode!! King Solomon is warning against adulterous woman and that adulterous woman can represent culture, money and things of the world. 2 Corinthians 9 Paul is teaching about giving from a willing heart. 1 kings 17-18 is all about Elijah. It is worth reading so you can get to know the life of the prophet Elijah

1 Kings 15-16, Proverbs 6, 2 Corinthians 8 I always read the whole chapter of Proverbs in the podcast episode because it is impossible to summarize such great wisdom. Proverbs 6 talks about working, don’t be lazy, finish your commitments and DO NOT commit adultery. Paul explains to the people the importance of being generous. 1 kings 15-16 was all about the kings of Israel and Judah. Spoiler alert...

2 Samuel 20-21, Psalms 146, 1 Corinthians 14 2 Samuel 20 is about another crazy character who wants to overthrow King David. Psalms 146 is a beautiful passage of Gods character. 1 Corinthians 14 is about the importance of prophesy and the orderliness of God.

2 Samuel 19, Psalms 145, 1 Corinthian’s 13 King David is distraught about the death of his son until Joan the head commander tells him to get up. Psalms 146 is a perfect depiction of who God is. 1 Corinthians 13 is the classic passage about love.

2 Samuel 17-18, Psalms 144, 1 Corinthian’s 12 King David’s Absalom is pursuing him to kill him so he can take over the kingdom. In chapter 18 Absalom is killed and king David mourns his son. Psalms 144 David continues to share his heart of anguish and love for the Lord. 1 Corinthians 12 is all about the gifts of the Holy Spirit

2 Samuel 15-16, Psalms 143, 1 Corinthian’s 11 The story of King David’s son Absalom is getting more and more twisted. Psalms 143 is a continuation of Psalms 142 with David expressing his troubles. 1 Corinthians 11 Paul the apostle teaches about head covering and Lord’s supper.

2 Samuel 13-14, Psalms 142, 1 Corinthian’s 10 King David’s sons are causing big drama and trauma. It will be interesting to see how king David deals with everything. Psalms 142 is David before he was king sharing his troubles with the Lord. Paul the apostle is teaching the people how to learn from the example of the Israelites of old in chapter 10 of 1 Corinthians.
