2 Chronicles 7&8, 1 Timothy 2 Sometimes you have to wrestle with passages in the Bible to grow in maturity. 1 Timothy 2 is one that stumbles a lot of people. 2 Chronicles 7 God speaks to Solomon. When God speaks you have to pay attention.

2 Chronicles 5&6, 1 Timothy 1 Paul is sending a letter to Timothy who is struggling with the church of Epesus. He reminds him that the law or faith or salvation is for sinners and rebels. 2 Chronicles 5&6 King Solomon invites Gods presence into the temple and prays over the people.

2 Chronicles 3-4 & 2 Thessalonians 3 2 Chronicles 3 & 4 describe how Solomon built the temple in detail. Jesus represents the temple and we the people are the church. In 2 Thessalonians Paul gives his final encouragement to be on guard of the people you surround yourself with and to always follow the teachings.

2 Chronicles 1-2, 2 Thessalonians 2 Paul is not holding back any truth in 2 Thessalonians. But be encouraged because Jesus wins!! In 2 chronicles 1 Solomon asks God for wisdom to lead the people well. God sees his heart and blesses him with wisdom and riches.

1 Chronicles 28-29, 2 Thessalonians 1 Paul is writing a second letter to the Thessalonians. It is a shorter letter like an afterthought or reinforcement of his encouragement. Last two chapter of 1 Chronicles really spoke to me today with something that was on my mind. Listen to the podcast episode to find out.

1 Chronicles 26-27, 1 Thessalonians 5 This is a good one!! The Bible is a recipe on how to live in the physical reality and the spirit reality.

1 Chronicles 24-25, 1 Thessalonians 4 On this podcast episode I go deep into the word sanctification as described in 1 Thessalonians 4 1 Chronicles 24 lists names of priests and chapter 25 lists names of musicians.

1 Chronicles 22-23, 1 Thessalonians 3 Paul is sending encouragement to the Thessalonians to love each other and be careful of the tempter. 1 chronicles describes the preparation to build the temple.

1 Chronicles 20-21, 1 Thessalonians 2 In chapter 21 of 1 Chronicles king David committed a sin by taking a censuses of the fighting men. The idea of taking a census is not wrong but God looks at the heart of why and how people do things. 1 Thessalonians 2 is Paul encouraging and connecting with the people.

He also says some clever verses to ponder on. Colossians 3 is Paul reminding people who they really are now that Gods spirit lives in them. 1 Chronicles 12-13, Proverbs 29, Colossians 2 Proverbs 29 is worth the read to see how the wisdom speaks to you differently at different times in your life. Colossians 2, Paul encourages the people to be wise in spirit and beware of crafty communicators of the culture. 1 Chronicles 12-13 describes army of David and his failed attempt to transport the Ark of the Covenant.

1 Chronicles 10-11, Proverbs 28, Colossians 1 Proverbs 28 is full of verses about wisdom, discernment and so much more. Colossians 1 is Paul sending an encouraging letter to people of Collossae. 1 Chronicles 11-12 summarizes Saul’s death and king David’s life.

1 Chronicles 8-9, Proverbs 27, Philippians 4 Proverbs 27 is the kind of chapter that reveals something different every time you read it. Philippians 4 is last chapter of Philippians and Paul doesn’t disappoint with his closing of the letter. I suggest you take verse 4-8 and post it on your wall. 1 Chronicles 6-7, Proverbs 26, Philippians 3 Proverbs 26 was a little heavy today. It was all about fools and how to recognize a fool. Philippians 3 Paul encourages the people to be true to their identity in Christ. 1 Chronicles 6-7 lists the genealogy of the he people of Levi, Issachar, Benjamin, Naphtali, Manasseh, Ephraim and Asher.

1 Chronicles 4-5, Proverbs 25, Philippians 2 Proverbs 25 is time to put on your critical thinking mind. Philippians 2 Paul talks about unity and living in peace. 1 Chronicles 4-5 is, of course listing more names but I found the prayer of Jabez. Chapter 4 verse 9 is prayer of Jabez.

1 Chronicles 2-3, Proverbs 24, Philippians 1 Proverbs 24 is FULL of WISDOM!! Don’t miss it!! Philippians 1 is Paul talking to the people of Philippi. 1 Chronicles 2-3 shows the genealogy of Jacob and David.

1 Chronicles 1, Proverbs 23, Ephesians 6 Proverbs 23 continues with The Thirty Sayings of the Wise. Soooo good!! Ephesians 6 last chapter of Ephesians and Paul doesn’t disappoint. He leaves us with the armor of God!!

2 Kings 24-25, Proverbs 22, Ephesians 5 Proverbs 22 introduces Thirty Sayings of the Wise. Ephesians 5 we finally read the real passage of “wives submit to your husbands” NOT out of context. If you ever felt yukky about that verse then read the whole chapter and you feel different. 2 Kings 24-25 people of Jerusalem are exiled to Babylon

2 Kings 22-23, Proverbs 21, Ephesians 4 Proverbs 21 seems to be teaching about cause and effect. Ephesians 4 is so beautiful how Paul teaches the Gentiles that they are made a new. He is warning us that we take full responsibility for the outcome of our actions.
