We have to be careful of what we take in because what we believe will form who we are. In today’s message, we are reminded to test everything spiritual to ensure it’s lined up with God before moving forward. Brandon gives us three leading lights to help us ensure our spiritual bearing is aligned with God and we’re not drifting off course.

Real love isn’t just a feeling—it’s action, obedience, sacrifice, and connection with God. As we learn to love the way Jesus loved, we grow closer to Him and reflect His heart to the world. Love isn’t optional—it’s the mark of true faith.

God’s lavish love through Christ is our adoption papers into His family, an invitation to future glory. God’s light and love should lead us to be like Him. And when we pursue the Father, it will shape our choices, transform our character and decidedly mark us as children of God.

Many false voices in the world seduce people with materialism and appeal to their senses. Their deception is rooted in the lie that Jesus is A way versus the truth that He is THE Way, the truth and the life. John encourages believers to “remain in Him” and allow the seed of the Kingdom to grow, produce good fruit and reveal genuineness of faith.

This week, as we continue our study through 1 John, we explore what it means to live a life marked by loving obedience to God. True obedience isn’t driven by duty or a checklist of rules—it grows naturally as our love for God deepens. This kind of obedience shows up in how we forgive others and in our pursuit of things that carry eternal value.

The book of 1 John provides a litmus test for Christian genuineness and assuredness of salvation. A positive test is marked by a life illuminated with a love for God, His ways and His people. Brandon kickstarts our series with the foundational truth that God is good. And, our lives can only reflect His goodness when we allow Jesus to become Lord of our life.

God is telling the church, "Look at Me and expect Me to move in power!" Prayer opens the door to miracles, revealing God's glory through the power of the gospel. And this hope of glory is our inheritance. What a privilege it is to be called to usher Heaven down to earth!

An in-depth look at Hebrews 12 reveals to us a loving Father who disciplines his children for their good. When our world is shaken, how will we respond? Learning the truths of His unshakeable Kingdom gives us sure footing.

A misplaced hope means dwelling as dry bones in a parched, desert wasteland - mourning instead of singing, wailing instead of dancing. It's time to leave the funeral and join the festival because Jesus has brought those bones back to life! Because placing our hope in God means we are oaks of righteousness, planted by streams of living water, bearing the fruit of a hope filled future.

Jesus’ ministry is a ministry of Jubilee.  He came so that our inheritance would be restored from the Father. This restoration then released us from the bondage of slavery and the debt of sin. And that grants us the ultimate sabbath rest.  Jesus came to proclaim the Lord’s favor every day, in every area of our lives.

The enemy wants to keep us captive by waging war on our minds. We need to fight back by exposing his powerless lies. The truth is that the enemy is defeated and Jesus has proclaimed freedom for the captives! Let's share this good news with others so that together, we can run free, experiencing the fully abundant life that Christ freed us for.

The wounds of a shattered heart can only be healed by the pierced hand of Jesus Christ. Our Lord is waiting to show us His love and compassion. We must simply turn towards him in faith for the blessing. But there's more good news - we are also promised the hope and courage to believe that Jesus Himself will comfort the brokenhearted.

Jesus came to bring hope and healing to a broken world — and now He sends us out to do the same. In this message, we kick off The Year of the Lord’s Favor series by looking at how God fills our emptiness and uses us to bring hope to others.

The way we see Jesus impacts our relationship with Him and who we are as Christians. Jesus was full of joy through the anointing of the Holy Spirit. As believers, that same oil of joy is available to us in all of its fullness! Our joy is made complete by the presence of God who is victorious in every area of our lives.

What does it mean to build lasting, godly friendships that go beyond convenience and into Christ-centered connection? Nathan Roach invites us to become the kind of friend who acts in faith, stays through the storms, and is available when it counts. Real community starts with showing up—and showing love like Jesus.

As the church, we have been called out to come into community with one another. Loving one another well means that we need to relearn how to live out loving relationships. We must actively commit to root out division by committing to abide by Biblical relationship principles.

The Father's love for His Son has been given to us. This means the church has been equipped to fulfill our mission: to convince the world that Jesus came by demonstrating the love of Christ through community with one another.

God is our biggest fan, eager to bless and prosper us. That comes with our choice to live every aspect of our lives out of the wisdom of His Word. And as people see His favor on us, they will recognize the real life and blessing that sprouts from God's Word. And wisdom will be justified by His children.

We end the Spiritual Gym series with the discipline of Celebration! Our "alleluia from head to foot" starts with knowing Jesus as our savior then erupts with a joyful expectation of God's provision because we are a fulfillment of His promise made to Israel! Out of the temple of the Holy Spirit, our bodies, will flow rivers of living water! Not only satisfying our every thirst but to be a deep well...

True worship is a powerful total being workout. It starts with the spirit, engages the soul and moves to a bodily expression of our complete submission to Jesus's lordship of our lives.

God promises where two or three are gathered, He will be in our midst. Our corporate discipline is to expand witness to this truth, making us either more like Jesus or burning away what is not of God, leaving only Jesus. His presence becomes our gift - Emmanuel, God with us.

Working out with friends at the spiritual gym is a picture of fellowship. However, Christian fellowship is much more than natural friendships. It's a community of believers, united in Spirit and a mutual bond - to love and serve each other with authenticity and vulnerability.

To continue our training goal of looking like Jesus, we need to do some spiritual cardio because Jesus had a heart to serve. Serving stretches and enlarges our hearts, making more room to love people with honor, gratitude and feeling privileged to do so.

The spiritual discipline of Stewardship teaches us to consider ourselves as managers of the resources that God has entrusted us with. In this teaching we are encouraged to manage our time, talents, and treasures faithfully so that we can be generous in our love to others.

In the spiritual gym, we "train ourselves to be Godly" but we have to remember to stay focused and trust God's process. Simplicity frees us to do this. It trains us to strop striving, know that He is God and simply follow Him to everything we need for Godliness.
