Following Jesus isn’t about adding faith to an already full life, but about fully surrendering everything to Him. Real hope, freedom, and transformation are found when we let go of control, release the things we cling to most, and trust God completely. The biggest obstacle to your promise is not a giant, it’s you. God will faithfully lead us to the edge of our promises but until we step obediently into what He has said, nothing will change. But we can have the Heavenly audacity to be strong and courageous because our God is Jehovah Nissi - He goes out as a victory banner, leading us to battle.

As we close this series with the final chapter of 1 John, we learn the simple, life changing truth that a believer in Jesus Christ has the assurance that they are a child of God! This gives us the privilege of accessing heaven and approaching our Father daily who provides us with everything we need to walk boldly in faith, pray with confidence and live in victory!

This week, we learn that our love for God is actually measurable and it’s by our relationships! Our love for other Christians is proof of God’s Spirit living in us so it cannot be something we just talk about, it is something that we must live out! Such a life is evidenced by our generosity, our encouragement, our staying power and our prayers for each other.
