It is possible to be placed by God and still miss the purpose of where we are. We can spend our energy asking, “Why am I here?” when God may be inviting us to ask, “How can I be faithful here?” He is not looking for extraordinary people, but ordinary people who will say yes to extraordinary assignments. The fullness of Jesus is released among us as we receive one another. God has woven His life throughout His Body, and much of what He desires to do in us comes through the people He has placed around us. When we receive one another, we receive the ministry of Jesus Himself and experience more of His fullness together.

It’s easy to focus on what’s next, but growth often happens in the seasons we’re tempted to rush through. Self-control is not simply resisting temptation—it is the fruit of a life fully submitted to Christ. Strength isn’t proven by force, but by restraint. Faith roots us in Him; faithfulness becomes the fruit others taste. And in a world of flakiness, we become steady people—friends who stay, believers whose word carries weight, lives others can lean on.
