Studies have connected dental enamel defects and Celiac Disease. Now, another study adds to that body of data: a study out of the University of Salerno found that recurrent mouth sores, dental enamel disorders and non specific tooth were higher in the celiac patients then non-celiac patients. McDonald's French Fries are NOT gluten free in the US. This is a fallacy that seems to rear it's ugly head frequently in Facebook groups. Oat flour seems to be showing up in more gluten free products then ever. But even if a package is labeled gluten free, we have to dig further to determine the source of the oats used in the flour.
