No one really wants to talk about lust, but the power of sex and the temptation to run with it apart from God's design and plan is too tempting. Males and females alike live idly in the sin of lust, but by the power of the Holy Spirit, we can overcome it.

Anger is not just universal, it's common. It's something we all feel and feel quite often. But Jesus cares a lot about what's going in our hearts and how that impacts our relationship with Him and with others. Let's what He has to say about anger.

God's call for each and every one of us is to be salt and light for the world around us. It's not for own glory, it's not to make us significant, it's because God wants to use His disciples to bless others.

Blessed isn't what you may think it is. Blessed doesn't always mean happy. Blessed are the poor in spirit...what? Blessed are those who mourn...how? Jesus sheds some light into the Kingdom of God and how congratulations are in order to those who understand the grace and love of God. ..

There's a tendency to sin in every single one of us. Sin plagues our thoughts, words, and actions. But Jesus, in Matthew 16, looks at the power of sin and evil and declares that He is more powerful than it. Jesus wins!

There are lots of movies where something small makes a huge impact on the outcome of the story. But let's look at your story. What if God has something planned where He can use you for His Kingdom and His glory right where He's placed you. There is no person or place too small for God to make a huge impact.

Behind the Disney classic, Toy Story 2, is a message about who we belong to. We are sealed, authenticated, and identified by the hand of God. We belong to Him. Invite your kids and family to listen in!

Toxic people can suck the life right of you. How do we respond to people when they mistreat us? Let's look at the example of Jesus and learn how to forgive those who wrong us.

Instead, let's look at the story of Ruth and Naomi and witness God's incredible grace and redemption that's offered to us as well.

The question we should be asking isn't the question we're actually asking. Instead of when, how, or where Jesus will return, we should be asking if we're ready. Do we have a relationship with Him? Will Jesus come back and take us with Him?

The disciples are curious – what will the end of the world look like? When will it happen? Jesus answers in Matthew 24. Let's dive in and learn about signs of the end times.

No disappointment in your life can measure up to the empty cross and the empty tomb. God sees you, He cares, and He's got an amazing plan for you. Happy Easter to all our listeners!

So who can change the condition of the soil? Who can change the hard soil hearts and the rocky soil hearts? Only God. We have to guard our hearts against worries of this life and the deceitfulness of wealth to keep the soil of our hearts ripe and receptive for the work of the Holy Spirit in us.

How do we keep following Jesus even when suffering comes? It's really about our mindset. If we think following Jesus will be easy and free of trouble, then we will be disappointed. But if we continue to dig deep, strong roots of faith, knowing that out best life isn't now, then we can endure whatever we have to face and never lose faith in Jesus.

What does the Bible mean when it talks about the "Kingdom of God?" What is it? When is it? We hope today's message gives God's people more clarity of where His Kingdom is and what it means for our lives.

Forgiveness is one of Jesus' most difficult teachings. In fact, it's so difficult that Jesus uses a parable to help people understand exactly what He means when He says to forgive. Today, we look at Matthew 18 and the Parable of the Unmerciful Servant. God calls us to forgive as we have been forgiven in Christ. 

Craig is calling "Donut!" today as we switch out of our study of Matthew for a week. Today, Craig takes some time to praise God for what He's doing at Fern Creek and discuss how best we can respond to God's blessing. God is on the move, but we know the enemy will do whatever he can to attack it. 

This morning, we unpack the story in Matthew 9 where Jesus, on his way to heal Jairus' sick daughter, heals one of His own daughters. In desperation, she seeks  to get just one touch of Jesus' cloak, and Jesus has time for her. There's a lot we learn about the heart of God in this story, but there's a lot we learn about the power of God as well.

At just one word from Jesus, demons flee. And Jesus tells the man not to follow Him to the other side of the lake, but to stay where He is and tell His local community about what God has done for him. We are witnesses of wha God has done in our life. 

Whether or not Jesus calms the storms of your life, which He can, He can always calm you. Circumstances and emotions tend to cloud our perceptive of God's character, but He is always good, even when we face storms. Come and listen. 

What God has cleaned is clean. Like the leper's disease in Matthew, sin taints our souls, but what God has forgiven is forgiven. The old is gone, the new has come, there is freedom in the name of Jesus! God is a Healer. 

Jesus is both fully God and fully man. So when He is tempted by the devil in the desert, He felt what we feel every single day. We have a High Priest who is able to sympathize with our weaknesses, and we serve a God who both endured temptation and overcame it.
