Joel only contains a little over 2,000 words, but it packs a meaningful message. There is hope for the day of the Lord when there is a day to receive and surrender our lives to Him.

We're kicking off a brand new series featuring the 12 minor prophets! Today, we start with the book of Hosea, a love story that illustrates God's love for us. No matter how far we fall, God still wants us back.

Let's take a Sunday to review what God's done at Fern Creek! A new year is an opportunity for a new beginning, but we learn from Paul's story in the New Testament that spiritual growth takes time. It's worth the time, though.

True joy can't be found in presents or fond circumstances. True joy in found in relationship with Jesus, and that through Him, our name can be written in the Book of Life. How will we respond?

Today, the Sunday after Thanksgiving, we take a look into the theme of God's blessing throughout the Bible. We may feel like our life is cursed at times, but through faith in Jesus, we have access to the grace and blessing of God. He really loves us!

Jesus encourages His followers to learn and do what He says – a simple command, but not easy to do. Come to the Lord and build your life on His love and grace. Jesus is our firm foundation!

The time is now to make a decision. Here's inspiration, information, and inclusion of Scripture on baptism. Jesus teaches us how to get baptized and even says, "Unless someone is born again, they cannot enter the Kingdom of God."

Jesus warns His followers to look out for false teachers. There are people in our midst who seek to deceive and twist the truth of Scripture. We cannot bend Scripture to fit culture. Instead, we must learn to listen to Jesus' words and seek out firm, trustworthy teaching.

Special guest, Chris Irwin, joins Fern Creek to talk about his organization, EnterMission, and how it helps young adults navigate their questions and concerns about the world today. God's Kingdom is now, we are called to priesthood, and we can learn the art of compassion.

We are trusting God to provide immeasurably more than we could ever ask or imagine. Today is the day of our church's KIDS wing expansion offering, and we dedicate all of today's offering and efforts to the glory of God. May His Kingdom come, His will be done at Fern Creek as it is in Heaven.

Narrow is the gate that leads to life. Christianity is not meant to be popular. Trusting Jesus and His way is not the norm. How do we protect and build our faith in a world that is heading toward destruction? Let's figure this out together!

The golden ticket to ask anything from Jesus is followed by the golden rule to do unto others as you would have done unto yourself. This passage from the Sermon on the Mount investigates our motives – do we seek the gift or the Giver?

On an audible Sunday, Craig walks us through one of David's most dangerous prayers in Psalm 39, "Show me, O LORD, my life's end and the number of my days; let me know how fleeting is my life." How can we live out this prayer today?

God designed us to belong in community. We are created for it, called into it, cared for by it, and challenged to grow through it.

Fern Creek is growing, and it's time to respond to God's movement and momentum. We're storing up our treasure in Heaven! On Sunday, October 22, we will take up a one time offering for...well...you just have to listen.

When we fast, Scripture teaches us that we must have a purpose and a plan. But most of all, we need a prayerful and intentional heart. Let's hear what God's Word has for us today.

We make prayer about ourselves more than we make it about who God is. The left side of the door opens us to a rich and meaningful prayer life. Let's open that door together!

Jesus could have healed everyone, but He didn't. He was led by the Holy Spirit to where and with whom He needed to be. May the power and grace of God shine through our generosity to those in need.

Loving your enemies is not being a pacifist. Loving your enemies does not mean seeking revenge on your own terms. Jesus tells us that loving our enemies means praying for them, not retaliating at their wrongdoing, and going the extra mile to carry their baggage.

Speaking the truth sounds like a no-brainer, but why is it so easy to fudge the truth in small ways? When we tell funny stories, when we don't want to talk on the phone, when we make false promises about a trip or dinner....as followers of Jesus, we need to train to become trustworthy and truthful.

Preaching on divorce is no small task. Odds are, you've been impacted by divorce in some way or know someone who has. Jesus' teaching on divorce clarifies what God intends for marriage and relationships.
