Is America a Christian Nation? This question can be answered definitively in the words of our founding fathers. The US has Christian roots, no doubt about it. It is a blessing to live in America with all the freedoms we enjoy, but the most important question we can ask ourselves is, "Am I born again?" Happy Easter to you and your family! Today, we hear the sounds of Resurrection Sunday – the sound of the tomb rolling open and the sound of the Savior who calls you by name.

The "clop clop clop" of the donkey as Jesus rides into Jerusalem, the shouts of praise as God's people pray to be liberated from oppressive Rome, the sound of Pontius Pilate's parade as he tries to interrupt the Passover feast. There's a lot going on that first Palm Sunday, but one thing is clear – the King rides for you.

God protects His people from the angel of death by the blood of the Lamb, and that blood still protects His people today. The gospel is really a new exodus for the people of God. Let's dive into God's grace-filled judgment in Exodus 12.

In chapter 8, when God unleashes judgments on Egypt, the Pharaoh doesn't seem too bothered. He tells Moses he'll let him pray...tomorrow! The idea of tomorrow can cause to procrastinate and build a habit of refusing to listen to God. Beware of a hardened heart.

God promises to rescue, form relationship, and reward the Israelites, but they doubt Him. They wallow in their discouragement, the enemy's sharpest and most used tool. How can we continue to trust God to deliver in the midst of discouragement?

The hardened heart of Pharaoh is a lesson for us. Tomorrow is the graveyard where obedience gets buried. Today is the day to turn your life to the Lord and accept Him as the one, true God.
