In today's show, I break down the pricing tiers for Canucks games this season, leading to a discussion as to whether or not Canucks games are too expensive. As well, I give birthday girl C Edits a call.

We had a discussion about the 3 leading candidates for next Canucks captain: Quinn Hughes, JT Miller, and Elias Pettersson. As well, I recapped my golf tourney and I made a massive announcement about an initiative I will take on this fall.

I break down all 3 aspects of the team (forwards, defencemen, and goaltending) and see which ones have improved...and which ones haven't. As well, we may have started the ball rolling on a spinoff show for me!

An eventful weekend for the Canucks as Nils Hoglander signed a new two-year deal with the club, while Ian Cole changed jersey numbers out of respect for Luc Bourdon.

The Canucks' development camp was highlighted by a scrimmage last night, where fans were able to see prospects like Tom Willander, Elias Pettersson, Jonathan Lekkeramki, and Akita Hirose in action. And there hasn't been a lot of progress in contract talks with Elias Pettersson, but there isn't a whole lot of urgency just yet.

Factoring in all of their free agent signings yesterday, how much do you think the Canucks improved? Is this a playoff team?

The Canucks selected Swedish defenceman Tom Willander with the 11th overall pick in the 2023 NHL Entry Draft. He is a smooth skating, mobile, two-way defender. He is set to play in the NCAA Division 1 next year with Boston College.

It's the night before the draft, so let's narrow down who the Canucks might take with the 11th overall pick. As well, I take a look at the Canucks 2023-24 schedule and look at the long homestands and road trips and key matchups.

The NHL Draft is only 3 days away and there is still a lot of intrigue surrounding who the Canucks might/should select. Will they go centreman or defenceman? Will they trade up or trade down? We're going to find out soon!

Jonathan Marchessault had 2 goals and an assist as the Vegas Golden Knights defeated the Florida Panthers 7-2 to take a commanding two game lead in the Stanley Cup Finals. The series now shifts to Florida for game 3 on Thursday.

Numerous reports have surfaced that Ray Ferraro will replace John Garrett on Canucks Sportsnet broadcasts this year. Given Ferraro's current commitment to ESPN, it's believed that he will do up to 25 Canucks games this year, and then transition to a more full schedule after this season. We talk about this potential fit for Sportsnet, as well as game 1 of the Stanley Cup Finals.

Defenceman Jett Woo has signed a one-year, two-way contract with the Canucks that will pay him $775k/year in Vancouver and $100k/year in Abbotsford. The 2018 second-round draft pick of the Canucks has yet to play a game in the NHL. Is this the year he finally cracks the Vancouver line up?

The Florida Panthers have advanced to the Stanley Cup Finals after sweeping the Carolina Hurricanes. They'll await the winner of the Vegas-Dallas series. As well, I talk about Vitaly Kravtsov leaving the Canucks, new seats in Rogers Arena, and our family trip to Ontario for the Canadian Youth Bowling Championships.

With the Conference Finals starting on Thursday, I give my predictions for both series. As well, we talk about the ramifications from the vote held in Tempe, Arizona today. Looks like the Coyotes will be on the move eventually.

The Vegas Golden Knights defeated the Edmonton Oilers 5-2 in game 6, eliminating them from the playoffs. Coupled with the Maple Leafs loss to the Panthers on Saturday night, there are no Canadian teams remaining in the Stanley Cup Playoffs.

I wrap up tonight's playoff action that saw both Canadian teams playing: the Maple Leafs avoided the sweep with a 2-1 win over the Panthers, and the Oilers tied up their series with a 4-1 win over Vegas in a game full of questionable hits, fights, and slashes. As well, I recap my whirlwind trip to Seattle yesterday to catch the Stars-Kraken game.

The Abbotsford Canucks were ousted by the Calgary Wranglers in the second round of the AHL playoffs. Meanwhile, the Toronto Maple Leafs are down three games to the surprising Florida Panthers.
