After a busy week for the Vancouver Canucks (draft, free agency, and trades), I examine what could come next for the team. Could it be naming assistant coaches? Another trade? Or even another free agent signing?

The Vancouver Canucks made a series of moves on the first day of free agency signaling that the rebuild is officially underway. The Canucks are bringing back Luke Schenn and they signed Paul Cotter. But the biggest move was signing Jamie Oleksiak after trading Marcus Pettersson to the Rangers.

I talk about the two moves that the Canucks made on Monday morning: they traded Nils Hoglander to the Nashville Predators for a 2029 third-round pick and then they acquired Brendan Gallagher from the Montreal Canadiens for future considerations.
