I used to title these episodes "Hodgepodge" because it's a little bit of this and a little bit that. Some fishing, some stories and tips, along with a new place to eat and some new music.

A fantastic fishing trip with a friend I hadn't seen in about four years. We had a blast, and the number of fish caught was pretty epic. Also... still eliminating unwanted stuff in the tackle bag and making a concerted effort to put fly fishing back in my life.

At last! I finally got back on the water not once, but two times this past week. So there's talk about inshore and offshore.

Left one island to visit another. Headed up to Pine Island on the southwest Florida coast to do the birthday thing with Mom. Had a lot of fun hanging out at the Tarpon Lodge.
