Lobster Mini Season if over and the hordes of lobster hunters have returned to their lairs. All in all it seems to have been a successful two days and now it's time for the regular commercial lobster season here in Florida. Yum! I get this question often. Where can we stay in the Keys on a beach. Well, if you mean natural white sand beach, pretty much nowhere. We do have some natural beaches, but nothing like the pan handle, Sanibel, Fort Lauderdale or Daytona. But what we DO have, is the Keys, a beautiful string of islands. Thanks for listening!

Much too windy for small boats, but the weather has been mostly sunny and very warm. Summer is here. Need a change of pace. Head on down to the Florida Keys and enjoy the laidback life.

It's springtime in the Florida Keys. The festivals are on, big time! We have also survived, what I hope is, the last cold front. Come on summer! Our move to the new digs is about to take place, and once it's over with I promise to get back on the water and go fishing!

We have finally moved from the well below normal temperatures, and it's absolutely gorgeous down here in the Florida Keys. The Festivals are happening and the fishing is on fire! Time to leave the cold and head to the islands.
