What, Like It’s Hard?

Surprisingly, Heather is the one who wanted to talk about superheroes this week! Well...if by "super" you mean "scary" and by "hero" you mean "villain". Sam, as always, thinks that maybe we are just being too quick to condemn the being set on world domination and destruction.

Sam and Heather dive into a thriller that will keep you guessing the entire way through- mostly guessing when it will actually end. Some ghosts come back to haunt you and some movies are better left in our past.

Sam and Heather had a blast talking about this sexy action good time romp. Does anyone else remember the scandal of it all? We aren't team Jolie or Aniston- we are team Women- bye Brad.

Sam and Heather discuss a movie adaptation from a Colleen Hoover novel- no not that one, this one has Dave Franco. It's wild how you can take a tale of devastation and make it a fun romance romp.

Sam is joined by Krista this week to discuss a wild and crazy tale. This episode is a bit longer than usual but we didn't want to leave any of the insanity out! Which POV was your favorite?

Sam and Heather watch one of Heather's go to movies. Kristen Wiig, carrot cake a lot of friend drama- what's not to like?

Sam and Heather take on this high speed action adventure. It's one wild ride, we hope you enjoy it as much as they did! If you haven't seen this one- come on.......seriously.

Sam is joined by Courtney this week as they discuss a musical delight that is close to both of their hearts. Is the story there? no. Is the music there? yes!  Check out the original as well:  Ep 92: Sister Act

Happy Anniversary! Sam and Heather have officially been making this show for 3 years now! Even though this is a time for celebrating it's more in our lane to discuss something sad, prepare yourselves this is a heavy story. Thanks for listening!

Sam and Heather discuss some hotties from the early 2000's while navigating a tale of secrets, wealth and did we already mention hotties? Buckle up because the plot is pretty flimsy but it is a fun ride, especially when you factor in the........well, hotties.

Sam and Heather continue their journey of The Hunger Games with the second installment of the series. While still tragic, this one at least has way less child death. While recording Sam and Heather had a lot of actual real life things going on so apologies for Sam just rambling through a lot of it.   If you haven't listened to it- check out the other episodes in this series:   Ep 114: The Hunger G...

Sam and Heather discuss a movie that Sam has been thinking about for the last 20 years. Believing is a powerful, just like how Sam and Heather still believe anyone wants to hear their opinions on movies! Bazinga!

Sam is joined by Zach for another episode! They decided to do another foreign film with subtitles and once again neither of them really knew what they were getting into. This film won lots of awards- should it have though?

Happy 2026 everyone! Sam and Heather needed some extra time to catch up and get back into the everyday swing of things so please enjoy this re-release! A special thanks to super fan Dave for choosing this episode as the one to bring us into the new year!

Sam and Heather wrap up the holiday season with a classic. The holidays are always crazy so better late than never. As we enter into the new year maybe we will get these episodes out in time? Don't get your hopes up- Merry Christmas everyone!

Sam and Heather continue their merry journey for the season much to Heather's dismay. This movie has truly captured the hearts of many but will it land with Sam and Heather? As Tim the tool man Taylor would say- ugh-ugh-ugh.

Merry Merry everyone! It's finally time for Sam and Heather's holiday line up! Tis the season for Sam to spread Xmas cheer while Heather bah humbugs even the slightest mention of jolly merriment. Obviously we are a bit behind schedule these days but we are also doing our best, thanks for your infinite patience and understanding!

Sam and Heather journey back into the late 90's to discuss another teen movie of the time. Not all things age well but we can keep learning and do better. Next week starts our merry merry collection!

Sam and Heather discuss another documentary. The goal was something interesting, something scientific- the results are.......not that. If you like to experience other people's trauma than this episode is for you.

Once again Courtney has joined Sam for this week's episode. Do you enjoy a tale of twists and turns that leave you questioning everything? Ok good, because these twists and turns left us pretty much with only questions!

Life has once again gotten slightly too hectic so we have decided to pull this one out of the vaults. Buckle in for a sci-fi adventure and like all exciting movies it really spirals out of control. New episodes return next week!

Another spooky season has come to a close- at it's conclusion, Sam and Heather discuss the doll that haunts us all. As a prequel maybe listen to this episode then revisit episode 91 to continue Annabelle's journey. Happy Halloween everyone!

Spooky season is still going strong! This week Sam and Heather discuss a fun silly spooky watch, no chills-all thrills. Heather bravely puts up with all the weird that Sam lives for, on an unrelated note do you find undead stalkers romantic?

Sam and Heather visit the found footage side of horror. We would love to meet someone who saw this in theaters and wasn't entirely swept away by the spookiness of it all.

Sam and Heather continue their spooky season journey with a tale of monsters. Buckle up because this is not your typical monster movie, get ready for an emotional roller coaster!
