Westside Sermons

The Gospel is more than a message we believe. It's a truth that changes how we love, how we live, and what we long for.   In Titus 3, Pastor Richie Baldwin reminds us that God's grace saves us, sets us apart, and sends us into the world to make Christ known. As we close MissionFest, we're challenged to live on mission, not out of guilt or obligation, but out of a deep love for Jesus...

God's grace was never meant to stop with us. It saves us, transforms us, and sends us into the world with a purpose. Through Jesus Christ, we have received a salvation we could never earn, purchased at a cost we could never pay. But the work of grace doesn't end at salvation. God continues shaping our hearts, changing how we live, and preparing us to share His love with the people around...

You can listen to great sermons, study Scripture, and gain a wealth of biblical knowledge, but information alone doesn't produce spiritual maturity. Following Jesus is about more than knowing the right answers. It's about allowing God's truth to transform the way we live, love, and influence the people around us. And that kind of growth was never meant to happen in isolation. In Tit...

What if the way we live could make the Gospel more beautiful to the world around us? Our beliefs should do more than shape what we say. They should transform how we love, lead, serve, and treat others. When our lives reflect Jesus, we give the world a glimpse of the beauty of His grace. In Titus 2, we discover that grace doesn't just save us. It teaches us, changes us, and sustains us. A beau...

False teaching rarely announces itself. It twists truth just enough to pull us off course. In Titus 1, Paul calls believers to contend for the faith by building our lives on Scripture, developing discernment, and surrounding ourselves with biblical community.   Invest in the mission and vision of Westside: https://westsidebaptist.org/give   FOLLOW Westside Baptist Church:  ► Instagram | https://ww...

Godly leadership is more than a position. It is mature Christianity worth multiplying. In Titus 1, Paul shows us that Kingdom work requires leaders who hold firmly to truth, model Christlike character, care for others, and live lives worth imitating.     Invest in the mission and vision of Westside: https://westsidebaptist.org/give   FOLLOW Westside Baptist Church:  ► Instagram | https://www.insta...

The world cannot see our King, but they can see what happens to people who live under His rule. Grace does more than save us. It trains us, changes us, and produces a life that reflects the character of Jesus. Our preaching and our practice should show the world that the King is in the house.   Invest in the mission and vision of Westside: https://westsidebaptist.org/give   FOLLOW Westside Baptist...

Hezekiah shows us what a faithful king looks like: one who tears down idols, restores true worship, and leads people back to God. But even the best king falls short. Manasseh was one of the most wicked kings in the history of Judah. He reigned 55 years. He sacrificed his own children. He filled the temple with idols. Scripture says he made things worse than the nations God had driven out before Israel ever arrived. And God forgave him. In this message from 2 Chronicles 33, Pastor David Chauncey unpacks why Chronicles tells the part of Manasseh's story tha...

You can’t leave a legacy of commitment while living a life of compromise. When we choose our way over God’s way, compromise slowly pulls us away from conviction and can leave consequences for generations. God calls us to recognize His grace, repent, and renew our walk with Him. Live a life of conviction and leave a legacy of commitment.   Invest in the mission and vision of Westside: https://wests...

Josiah became king at eight years old. His grandfather had spent 55 years filling the land with pagan shrines and false gods. His father was assassinated after two years. By any measure, he inherited the worst possible spiritual legacy. What happened next is one of the most unexpected turnaround stories in all of Scripture. A young king with nothing to build on became the starting point for nation...

Faith doesn’t become a legacy by accident. Kingdom families teach the Word intentionally, model faith publicly, and invest in relationships that shape the next generation. We are not called to be experts in faith, but partners in faith. What we live today can become a spiritual inheritance for those who come after us.   Invest in the mission and vision of Westside: https://westsidebaptist.org/give...

Faith can be passed down, but it cannot be inherited. Rehoboam followed the patterns of his father instead of seeking the wisdom of God, showing us how easily faith can become cultural instead of personal. But one generation can change everything. Make your faith personal, model a real relationship with Jesus, and follow Him with authenticity.   Invest in the mission and vision of Westside: https:...

Wisdom can sharpen the mind. Pleasure can satisfy for a moment. Success can fill our hands. Yet none of them can fill the eternity God placed in our hearts. Ecclesiastes 2 reminds us that every earthly pursuit falls short apart from Him. True joy is not found in what we build, buy, or achieve, but in the Shepherd who gives meaning, purpose, and pleasures forevermore.   Invest in the mission and vi...

Truth is not shaped by culture, feelings, or what seems right in the moment. Our hearts can deceive us and the world will always offer an easier path, but Jesus points us to something better. He reveals the Father, speaks words that give life, and calls us to stand firm in what is true.   God’s truth does more than inform us. It saves us, sets us apart, unites us, and fills us with lasting joy. An...

Power is not found in force but in surrender. When we rely on our own strength, we grasp for control, but Jesus shows a better way through prayer. In John 17, He lifts His eyes to the Father, choosing alignment over striving and trust over self-reliance. Kingdom people do not reach for the sword first. We reach for the Father. Prayer becomes our first instinct, shaping our hearts to His will, His...

We don’t drift into righteousness. We pursue it. What fills your thoughts when you wake up and what lingers before you sleep reveals what your life revolves around.
