The first episode in a series of shows that focuses on the topic of women in coaching and officiating. In this episode, we break down the number of women coaches and administrators at both the collegiate and US professional leagues.

Season II is here. I’m back and ready to talk about sports and hard topics…are YOU ready?! If so, then sit back, relax, grab a drink or two and listen to The Staredown!

The first episode of 2024 discusses NIL and transfer portal moves, bowl season and opt outs, the new women's sports bar in Minnesota, an Olympic athlete who posted a picture of her cellulite, and an bowl game interaction that still seems unbelievable (and not in a good way).

Just like today's title says, it's a crossover episode with the guys from Takin' on Sports as we watch the CFP selection show live and share our reactions.  We also talk the Heisman, transfer portal and some coaching carousel madness.

A recap of the Egg Bowl, Ohio St./Michigan, Florida/FSU, and the craziness that was 4th and 31.  And what does it all mean in terms of New Years Six bowls.

Between all of the coaching changes in the SEC, a coach getting his interm tag removed, and the insanity at Michigan, this is just the beginning.  Plus, the investigation into the death of hockey player Adam Johnson takes a turn, Charissa Thompson makes a crazy admission, the Oakland A's are moving, the Milwaukee Brewers are staying put, and Thanksgiving is almost here!  There's a lot!

An interview with 2022 Chucky Mullins Award winner KD Hill!  We talk about his story and the 2nd Annual Chucky Mullins Thanksgiving Dinner benefitting the Oxford Housing Authority that will be held Nov. 20, 2023.  A few thoughts on Michigan, the World Series, Ole Miss football and a Don't Flinch for the Ole Miss Rifle team!

Mal recaps her trip to NYC and her first ever Giants game!  She also dives into the craziness at Michigan, James Harden missing the first road trip of the 76ers season, and a Don't Flinch in honor of Tasha Butts.

Today we have Mallory, Meagan, and Mallory.  Two Mallorys.  Will the world survive?  Who knows! But the M Cubed Network is established. Look out Peyton and Eli, we're coming for you!

Mallory discusses "Welcome to Wrexham", season 2 episode 2, the No Fun League and their insane uniform rules and how AJ Brown was about to be the most recent recipient of a fine because of their "zero fun sir" attitude.  Finally, we wrap it up with a wonderful statement from Lauren Holliday about her husband Jrue being traded.  So sit back, relax, grab a drink or two and listen to The Staredown!

The Ole Miss/LSU weekend in Oxford was a crazy one!  From kisses from Juice, an Ole Miss win, and losing my voice, I discuss it all.  Oh and getting to tell some of my heroes how awesome they are and what they mean to me.

This week Mallory gives her take on week 3 of college football, week 2 of the NFL and then she explains why September 22 is a big day and why sports mean so much to her.

After a rough few weeks of life, The Staredown is back!  Starting off with US Open celebrations for Coco, a college football recap of weeks 1 & 2 and a preview of week 3, NFL thoughts and talking about horrible fan behavior that has been seen at college football games.  It's time to sit back, relax, grab a drink or two and listen to The Staredown! (includes a few instances of profanity)

COLLEGE FOOTBALL IS BACK!!!!!!!!  Today we talk about the new world record for people watching a women's sporting event, college football and my predictions of who will win the B1G, XII, PAC 12, ACC and SEC, and we end with some US Open love and a new Don't Flinch.

Controversy, court cases, cheesiness, and community...oh my!  From the Spanish Women's Team celebration debacle, to Reggie Bush taking the NCAA to court, the utter horribleness of "Swamp Kings" and a story of women's eMpower-ment from my community, we cover it all in this episode.

We talk the Michael Oher/Tuohy family drama, twitter trolls, NIL and social media, Ohio State and tattoo gate and so much more!

Johnny Manziel, NIL, Conference Realignment, The USWNT, and Brett Favre.  Seem like a interesting group of topics?  Maybe but they're all tied together by one thing.  MONEY!  Listen to host Mallory McCormack's takes on all things money and how crazy and mind boggling these things are.   Connect with us: Instagram: @thestaredown_podcast X (Twitter): @thestaredownpod Email: thestaredownpod@gmail.com...
