The Quiet Man
Pilot: "Neil doesn't say much, but when he does, it's worth listening to!" This is one of those comments that many people would have ignored or forgotten. In 37 years of listening and learning, I collected those comments, lessons, and forgotten scraps of life and formed them into my latest book— 'Listening, Laughing, and Learning'. Because I never said that much, many people thought I was 'hiding my light under a bushel'. I have therefore created this 'Quiet Man Series' to right that wrong and share with the world, through 54 episodes.

The Quiet Man Series— The Epilogue 26.11.2024 6:02
A ‘Gallery of Giggling Ghosts’. Sometimes, you must reach the end to realise what it was all about. That happened when I wrote ‘Listening, Laughing, and Learning’. The Gallery of Giggling Ghosts was all my ancestors roaring with laughter when they found out I’d written a book about RESPONSIBILITY. The thing is, it’s the single biggest issue that needs to be addressed today— Self-responsibility and...

The Final Episode— Call it out. When people have certainty and tell you ‘You Should’ do something, run a mile. Beware being ‘Should’ on. Solutions are never external fixes; they are always internal. A final call to be a ‘Maverick’, say ‘No’ to authority and the freedom to say, “The Emperor looks like Winnie-the-Pooh.” 54 Life Tip...

Winnie the Pooh’s Pandemic. Someone once said, “If you want to make god laugh, tell her your goals.” She roared at the beginning of 2020 when I told her mine. When the Emperor has no clothes, they need to be called out. Dictators, Despots, Autocrats and Theocrats should be mercilessly ridiculed, lampooned and called out. A clarion call to ridicule the ‘Dicks’ of the world. 54 Life Tips from a Mast...
