Hooah! I am a little ashamed to say that this is my first Al Pacino movie, but as Dylan has assured me this is among one of the great ones. After watching it I can say that I agree, and this will not be my last Al Pacino movie, trust me! It was quite a journey, but I enjoyed the ride. Tensions were high in this episode, this movie hit me in a way I wasn’t expecting. Wow, this movie is nightmare fuel. As Ethan said “I’ve never been so disgusted and interested all at the same time.” and I will definitely agree with him. Dylan said that he didn’t trust dogs for a while, and had nightmares for weeks as a kid after he watched this. So if you do watch this prepare to have some trust issues for a little bit. Aliens, in my opinion I like this one more than the first in some ways. Not to discredit the first one though, it does a great job. Just like the beginning, the two boys are back at it again. Talking up a storm, and cracking jokes for just about an hour. Oh Rambo, I was not expecting this movie to go that direction. I always had in my head it was a cheesy action but there was a lesson and a motivation?! No way! This was the first Studio Ghibli movie Dylan showed me back in the day, and it holds a special place in my heart. I was very excited to be introducing Ethan to this franchise the same way I was.
