The Aftermath

First, Dylan brought us up to speed on his Herculean task of completing Operations of the highest difficulty for Space Marines 2. Then, I talked about how Mya and I have started playing Star Wars: The Old Republic, and I shared my love for MMOs. Lastly, we talked about the unthinkable: Mods in Helldivers 2. I’ve started playing with some quality of life mods, and I shared my thoughts and feelings...

We went way back for this episode to the little Clone Wars micro-series directed by Genndy Tartakovsky. It has been too long since either of us have watched this series, and it is phenomenal. From the Arc Troopers and clones, to Mace Windu literally bare knuckle boxing Super Battle Droids, and last but not least, the introduction of General Grievous. We round out the night with a little Mass Effec...

This week Dylan and I watched a film that was very integral to our childhood, the original Sam Raimi Spider-Man released in 2002. It has been so long since I watched this, and I forgot how much I loved this film. At the very end Dylan informed us about the recent character development of his main man Vaseraga. I discussed my night out on the town, and the little mushroom decorations Mya and I bought for the autumn season. Dylan caught us up to speed on what’s been going on in the Granblue Fantasy world. As well as all the other games in the franchise. Last but not least, I shared my first time exploring through Breath of the Wild. Our Links: Ian Wolffe Send us Fan Mail

Tonight we played and focused on the new Patlabor: The Case Files game that just came out. In addition to talking about the new game, we shared our deep love of the TV Series all over again. Also, I feel like we can’t pass up an opportunity to talk about the death of physical media when referring to classics such as this. Our Links: Ian Wolffe Send us Fan Mail

We watched Buzz Lightyear, and his crew of misfits, as they go on a quest to the Unimind for the Little Green Men. Beside the Evil Emperor Zurg, there is another foe added to the roster. He goes by Agent Z, also known as Warp Darkmatter, and if that isn't the coolest name in Lightyear Lore I don't know what is. Our Links: Ian Wolffe Send us Fan Mail

This is proof that Ethan is not merely a figment of our collective imagination. This still has not proven that he isn’t just a fragment of Dylan though. They claim to be two parts of a whole Sephiroth, named Sephy, as per Chase’s nomenclature. We also got a harrowing story of Ethan’s battle with the Arizona pavement. Welcome everyone, Earth is dead, and if that wasn’t bad enough the future of humanity is left in the hands of an idiot. We are being hunted down by BLUE, and their only weakness is orange, of course. I had a little too much fun rewriting certain aspects of this film, but I enjoyed it. Our Links: Ian Wolffe Send us Fan Mail

Tonight's episode is a grab bag of topics. We watched some more of the new Ghost in the Shell anime, ate pizza, and talked some more about our favourite games. Last of all, the most important thing was the Hello Kitty X Godzilla McDonald's crossover. Our Links: Ian Wolffe Send us Fan Mail

One again, Dylan and I almost had Ethan on the podcast, but alas, he slipped away before we could. So instead, listen to us yap about Granblue, Helldivers, and Final Fantasy. We also tiptoed on how disappointed in the games industry currently, and how indie games are going to take over. Our Links: Ian Wolffe Send us Fan Mail

For this episode we only watched the first two episodes of the new Ghost in the Shell anime series. We had a little trip down memory lane talking about all the different iterations of Ghost in the Shell, and we found out Jon hasn’t seen any of it. Dylan informed him that it was required viewing, and Jon said he will get on board soon enough. Our Links: Ian Wolffe Send us Fan Mail

We learned a lot about ourselves, and our enemies with the finale of Macross Plus. As well as how much we all still hate AI as it takes over our lives. On the other hand, that concert was out of this world! There's no way they can top it next year. Dylan says don't forget to use the foregrip!... Our Links: Ian Wolffe Send us Fan Mail

Dylan, Jon, and I got together for this brief episode because of some schedule conflicts. We hit all the major stuff: Nuclear Option, 3D printing stuff, Granblue Fantasy: Relink, and last but not least, the new Halo: Campaign Evolved. We all had some things to say about that. More like Campaign De-Evolved, amiright? Our Links: Ian Wolffe Send us Fan Mail

The time has finally come. The new Endless Ragnarok DLC released about a week ago, and it is time for Dylan to educate us on what the new META is. Here Begins Fate’s Episode. Our Links: Ian Wolffe Send us Fan Mail

In today’s episode we talk about a long standing rivalry between two men that slips over into their military work. They’re fighting over the same woman, and destroying government property in the process. The repair bill for these prototype mechs is going to be astronomical. This just in Hatsune Miku attempts to murder a young woman in a building fire, more at eleven. Our Links: Ian Wolffe Send us...

This is a story about a group of guys tearing down an entire forest with the biggest piece of machinery constructed by humans. One of them gets kidnapped by a fairy, and the other two inadvertently get controlled by the sludge demon that was sealed away in an ancient tree. That skeletal smoke monster was huffing and tweaking on the exhaust like a fiend, but in the end all you had to do was turn of...

What a strange little film this was. A scientist split his soul into nine little sackboys and girls as military grade robots kill all of humanity. After they awaken “The Machine”, which I call “The Tinkerer”, it begins to suck the souls out of them. More graphic than I thought it would be. In the end their souls get saved and turn into germ, maybe, not sure. Our Links: Ian Wolffe Send us Fan Mail

We are back in the world of Godzilla, this time at the end of the Heisei era. The aesthetics of this movie are beautiful. Everything from the colours to the suits designs, this Godzilla movie is definitely among the top of the list. Our Links: Ian Wolffe Send us Fan Mail

This week it's Mass Effect, Legend of Zelda, and other old games from our childhood. We continue to be a bad influence on Jon, and have him stay for the podcast again. Our Links: Ian Wolffe Send us Fan Mail

For this week's episode we got Jon back in the studio, and we spent too much time chilling before the show so we convinced him to come chat with us. We discussed 3D printing, flight sim HOTAS setups, and the recent lore drop for 11th edition Warhammer 40K. Initially this episode’s title was pitched as "HOTAS On The Golden Throne” before it devolved into what it is now. You're welcom...

Today is a day of mourning and dancing. I’ll get to why in a moment. We started this episode off by talking about the new Gundam movie that just released, Mobile Suit Gundam Hathaway: The Sorcery of Nymph Circe. We saw it in the cinema together and quickly shared our thoughts, and I also brought up the fact that Mya and I have been watching the original trilogy of Star Wars as well. But today we e...

If I had a dollar for every time Dylan and I talked about a Royal Rat Authority I would have at least two dollars. Which isn't much in the grand scheme, but is definitely more than I would have expected. This quest is intense. We had to track down an ancient owl who told us to convince these super-intelligent rats to help us save the family, and cure Tiny Tim of pneumonia. Our Links: Ian Wolf...

The time has finally come! Mya was available and we got to watch the famous Jim Henson classic, The Dark Crystal. This was a wonderful adventure into a world that I have never experienced before. From the plants, and beautiful landscapes, to the creatures, races, and last but not least the crab guards! This truly was a special film. Our Links: Ian Wolffe Send us Fan Mail

This is the day that Dylan unveils a dark secret. He has been training horse girls, and is falling prey to Umamusume. We talk about how badly this game has gotten him, the movie associated with the game, and the broader implications of “ownership” and “freedom” in this universe. Dylan and I sat down with Jon and discussed the recent developments in the games industry, and the stuff we’ve been playing. We covered so much in this episode. I shared my guilty pleasure of the amazing music of the Sonic the hedgehog universe. Dylan talked about a classic game called Kameo and his recent updates in Space Marine II. Jon and I have recently been sharing our love for flight sims wi...
