I just want to make this very clear up front, this is not a cheat episode. There is an actual soundtrack for this movie, and it's supposed to be Josh's mixtape he's listening to on his headphones. I've always been fascinated by this one, and I'm excited to get to it. With that out of the way... Hey everyone! It's my favorite time of the year, Halloween! And it's...

Today I'm joined by long-time friend, former Jeopardy contestant, and veterinarian Mark Primiano (@doctor1hundred.bsky.social) to talk about THE WARRIORS, one of the all-time cool movies.  CAN YOU DIG IT? Did you know COBRA had a soundtrack? Well, neither did I, but thankfully it did, because it was a perfect excuse to get fan-favorites L Ron Mexico and Plexico Gingrich on again. Oh, and did you know L Ron has a new podcast called No Homework? You should, because he's a cohost with recent guests Patrick Cosmos and Charles Star.  This was, as always, a blast to talk about with these guys. Check...

Once again I'm joined by David Roth and Charles Star, and this time we're tackling some Michael Mann, with his divisive 2006 movie MIAMI VICE. In this episode, which is almost as long as the movie, we talk about the movie, the soundtrack, and whatever else we wanted to talk about. It's a chaotic episode and I wouldn't have it any other way. You can't fight gravity, just li...

SOMEBODY once told me Soundtracker was back, and today it's talking about Shrek, the (apparently) very divisive 2001 animated film about an ogre and his donkey friend. And I'm joined once again by Francis Horton (@whatahellofawaytodad.com on Bluesky and @armystrang on Twitter ) to talk about it. In this episode we talk about the innocence of a pre-9/11 world, a pre Mike Myers burnout wor...

It's what they would have wanted as they prepare to ride off into the sunset with the final movie,...

Do I like it now? You'll have to listen to find out! (Yes, I do).  In this episode we ta...

If you don't follow me on Twitter, or you just missed it, I'm in the midst of a completely frivolous trademark dispute with some guy who records the sounds of crickets in the snow. I'll explain better in the episode. Hopefully I'm still here next week, and I can finally post the GONE IN 60 SECONDS episode, which was supposed to come out today. Love you all!  Support the show on...

American Pie turned 25 on Tuesday, and if learning that is throwing you into some sort of crisis mode, why not work through it with myself and Ben Collins (formerly the disinformation reporter for NBC News/currently the CEO of The Onion) as we revisit the movie and its soundtrack for the occasion. In this episode, we talk a lot about how this movie holds up in 2024, discuss what happened to the ca...
