Ronald A. Rasband was called to the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles on October 3, 2015.Elder Rasband had been serving as a member of the Presidency of the Seventy since 2005 and was serving as the senior president of the Presidency of the Seventy when called to the Twelve. He was named a member of the First Quorum of the Seventy of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on April 1, 2000.
