Pod Meets World

Season 3 has already brought us a handful of surprises, but nothing has made our crew happier than seeing the debut of Mr. Eli Williams, played by the effortlessly cool Alex Désert. And now they reunite to talk about his time at John Adams High, shooting Swingers at night after taping Boy Meets World, being the coolest guy in the room and working with *clears singing voice* Tony Tyler Quinn. It’s...

On a special and emotional episode of Pod Meets World, the gang catches up with a very important person in their lives: BMW producer and frequent director, Jeff McCracken. Listen in for all the “deets, man!” on a brand new Pod Meets World. S...

When we recently recapped Summertime Switch, a movie Rider Strong co-started in during Boy Meets World’s Season 1 hiatus, tons of listeners had just one request: get Jason Weaver on the podcast. And so, we consider ourselves lucky to make your dreams come true. It’s a camp reunion as Jason remembers the ABC movie of the week and how Jason’s dance moves weren’t the hottest thing on set. Jason also...

The time for Season 3 has arrived! Will the transition be smooth or are we in for another Shock Drop? The Summer is officially over and it appears Cory and Topanga are finally set to become official? Well, unless Shawn gets to her first.  So will this new found love triangle (and a new cool teacher) be enough for a strong start or will the hosts be totally confused like Shawn STILL trying to pick...

Just days away from the start of Season 3 recaps, there’s just one last piece of unfinished business from the gang’s Freshman year at John Adams High School that needs attending to. It was during the rewatch that actress Darlene Vogel, and her nuanced, yet vital, role as Katherine “Kat” Tompkins, shocked the gang beyond expectations, forcing them to hunt her down and bring her on Pod Meets World....

In 1994, a young actor named Rider Strong made the professional decision to star in the ABC teen comedy, Summertime Switch. And now, 29 years later, it’s time to question that decision. Before we dive into Season 3, it’s time to go the movies! Hear what Danielle and Will think of the film after their first watch, and how much Rider remembers from his days at the Detention Camp. We’ve come to the end of Season 2 - and you know what that means! It’s the return of Ceej & TC, the hosts of our favorite fan rewatch podcast, Bruh Meets World, to ask the questions our hosts may have missed. It’s a recap with further analysis on cast dynamics, the difficulty of workplace friendships and how the hosts feel now about being teenage heartthrobs of desire. Let’s take one last look...

Danielle, Rider and Will have often talked about how the live studio audience was the uncredited, and sometimes most important, member of the Boy Meets World cast. Their laughs and applause could single handedly dictate the strength of an episode. And no members of that audience meant more than the Shere's, lovingly dubbed - "The Stalker Family." A staple in the bleachers, they not only attended a...

Here we are - the end of Season 2! We’ve come a long way since “drop shock” and the warm blanket, as the gang waxes poetic about Shawn’s new stray dog status and the evolution of Mr. Turner. Will has some red flags to point out (and some SATs to study for) and with the tour steadily approaching - what will costume contest winners take home? You might not believe it. It’s a love fest as Danielle, R...

Like Marty McFly traveling to the ‘50s to make sure his parents met, the gang always knew they somehow needed to forever close the Harley Keiner loop to survive. And with this episode’s guest, Kenny Johnston, they found the final puzzle piece.  The man who played “The Other Harley” tells HIS side of the story, detailing what he knew, and didn’t know, about replacing Danny at the last minute, and i...

It’s time to meet the parents, as this all-time favorite episode finally details Shawn’s home life and introduces us to Topanga’s (first) dad. Listen to the gang’s initial impressions of Blake Clark, the emo evolution of Shawn’s storylines and Mr. Turner as a father figure. And just when they get to Matthew Nelson’s first script, another beloved member of the Boy Meets World family is remembered....

She played Ingrid Iverson, a favorite from our Season 2 rewatch of “Turnaround,” and now actress Natanya Ross joins the gang for a new episode of Pod Meets World. Natanya started her acting career at just 6 months old and, in addition to BMW, found success on The Secret World of Alex Mack and The Baby-Sitters Club. But unfortunately, early attention in Hollywood sometimes finds itself lost in pers...

It's time to recap one of the most memorable episodes of Boy Meets World, "The Thrilla' in Phila'" - a surreal romp that introduces Vader to canon and features a rather random Robert Goulet cameo. Learn how they rehearsed the wrestling scene, how the transition to Griff is progressing a...

Oh, also…Lisa Loeb makes Rider’s dreams come true. Take a ride with us on this awesome journey. See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

We're in the homestretch of Season 2 and it's time to introduce Griff to the cast - welcoming the great, and very cool, Adam Scott to Boy Meets World (hopefully with a hug). When Cory and Shawn find a way to cheat, their morality comes under fire, while Mr. Turner sheds the tie for a very tight tank top. The gang is impressed with how this episode appears to come together, even if Topanga once aga...

In an interview the gang never expected, ice skating legend Nancy Kerrigan joins the podcast to talk about her surreal guest appearance on the BMW episode, “Wrong Side of the Tracks.” They talk about Will’s whirlwind, anxiety-inducing adventure to the East Coast set, Nancy’s thoughts on Will’s “skating ability” and why every Halloween still sucks for the iconic athlete. And how did Will end up in...

Where to begin with “Wrong Side of the Tracks?” Sure, there’s a new, unexplained Harley and a world class ice skater cameo, but the cast sure seems to be getting more comfortable AND we see the breadcrumbs of Shawn & Turner. This recap we also find out why Nancy Kerrigan joined the Boy Meets World Universe and how a young mouthy Danielle was punished.  Lace up those skates, it’s time to take t...

It’s a Full House as Will, Rider and Danielle welcome Stephanie Tanner herself, Jodie Sweetin, to PMW! They reminisce about running Hollywood as the childhood actors of the hottest TGIF shows, including the glorious highs and the darkest lows that came along with it. But most importantly, did someone pee their pants on the set of Danielle and Jodie’s Kooshlings commercial?? And why was there no Bo...
