OutHouse Theologians

We pray for the temporal death of complete surrender, for only in that place do we discover where our hope comes from.

How will you choose... for eternity?

The team meets again, for the first time in 2026.

The Covenant is laid out before us, already complete. We are free to walk out of it — and face the consequences. And we are free to remain in it, and reap the blessings. But love demands the guiding rod and staff which help lead us into life, and which prod us into position to receive and to share the blessings of obedience.

What was God's purpose for mankind at Creation? He already had the best worship band in the universe and countless messengers ready to fulfill His every command. But this new experiment would test the boundaries of possibility between Creation and Creator.

He could trust you with those scars.

All that we can sacrifice for God is still not enough to purchase the grace He has given.

Sometimes we can feel like God just keeps testing us, but the trial is the key which unlocks that which had been keeping us outside of the blessing already set aside for us.

Welcome back! Season 3 has begun.

Them's some dang sharp sticks!

How could love seem like tyranny? Sometimes it's so strong it won't let go of a hopeless person to let them throw themselves off the cliff. And sometimes God's love binds us in this way, forces us to give life and hope and love just one more chance.

Not just a memory, but an eternal moment

Matt talks about his father's funeral and the words he shared there.

True creativity brings revelation of life and truth. Not all of it is happy, not all of it is free from darkness; that's the world we live in. But true creativity casts aside the terrible filter of despair and the void which consumes lesser creative attempts.

There is only one who is worthy. We are not worthy to crown him; God alone can lay the true crown upon his head... But we can at least throw our crowns at his feet, the only conceivable gesture to demonstrate our respect, reverence and admiration.

Continuing with the topic of Dominion, the OutHouse looks at the effects of surrendered sovereignty and the implications of God's Kingdom being revealed on the earth, and the battle that rages when these opposing powers meet.

The OutHouse Theologians are inviting you IN for a new season! Genesis 1:26 - Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.” What does this dominion mean? Do we still have it? What are we supposed to d...

For some crazy reason, we got invited back. The OutHouse shares about Jonah and running from God.
